This vid may be old but there is a fade main who constantly reach radiant and even top 1 and that is zt0l. I study him alot and he doesnt use any fade lineups he studies the spots where it can land and then just throw it, second of all it can be good to throw a "bad" reveal. For example if u r on attack split and u reveal deep b backsite and it gets destroyed. Then u get the info that someone is there. I dont recommend it for site takes but when it is 2v2 or 3v3 and u need more detailed information, it will be strong. The bad thing about the more complicated lineups which covers more space is that when it get destroyed it will be harder for u to know where it got destroyed from. So it depends on the situation. I just wanted to call out that it's not always bad if u do these random eyes. Great vid!
Sure but how many times is the enemy viper gonna ult in a game? Are you gonna pick a character to counteract a specific ult every 5-6 rounds? Or are you gonna pick a character that gets you consistent value every single round. That's what sova does on those maps. Consistent value every round
lineups is the worst thing in any game for me. its anti fun and exists purely out of necessity. So you telling me, to make any use out of my hunt, i have to learn lineups, which only maybe fun when coming up with the said lineups in custom (why do that just watch them on youtube). What's the fucking point of making it destructible? If im trying to be smart and creative in the moment do i literally have to do complex mathematical calculations of how the ability will land in real time, so it wont get destroyed? Or am i just suppose to bend myself over and memorize fucking boring ass lineups for every map and spot in the game?
Memorizing lineups for any character is never fun. But if you really care about improving and mastering your chosen agent then it does become a necessity. Every great Sova and Fade players has a dozen lineups for every map. You can choose to not learn them if you dont want, you'll just have to accept then that you'll only ever be 50% as good as you can be
its absolutely is true what you are saying. Im just critiquing the game design, where memorization is encouraged over any other more engaging mechanic when it comes to using these abilities @@Ninekillaa
