Birkenstocks are the only shoes I wear in the summer/fall! They literally go with everything and feel like nothing! I’m really digging the pink Madrid you have, I think those will be my first pick up for my spring summer add

I wasn’t a fan of Birkenstock sandals, hubby loves his, but I found a cute pair at the end of last summer. The strap rubbed on the top of one of my feet. It took a long time to heal. I found a cheaper version of these sandals and those are more comfortable. I will be giving my Birkenstocks another try once warmer weather comes in.
@@Themomedit they are the Mad love brand. I wore them the last 3 days with no issues. I did get them at a thrift shop, so they were already broken in. The hubby thought they were Birkenstocks when he first saw them. Really cute for a dup.
I live in Colorado and it is our state shoe 😆! I’ve lost count of how many pairs I have. I am needing a shoe cabinet ( IKEA) to house all my Birkenstocks!
Your sandals look a bit small on your feet. I bought a Papillio in my regular size, a 39. Even if it looks a bit bigger than a 38, it looks better. I followed Birkenstock's advice and that's to get the larger fit, if between sizes. The size 38 fit looked like yours on me when I tried it in the store.
Das mit der Größe ist mir auch aufgefallen. Die Sandalen sind zu klein. Die Ferse steht auf dem Rand. Das darf nicht sein, kann sehr schmerzhaft werden. Die Sandalen sind vermutlich auch zu schmal, besser mal die normale Weite ausprobieren. Die Füße sehen in den Sandalen sehr eingeengt aus. Sehr ärgerlich, jetzt hat sie so viele Birkenstocks in der falschen Größe gekauft.😕
Yes you’re absolutely right! Since my first Birkenstock years ago was my regular size 38 it looks so tight on my feet even if I adjust them.. So I’ve decided to go for a 39 size for the Madrid Big Buckle and they’ve recommend me this size too.. it was totally perfect! Just bought them this week and I am so happy. Even though it’s hard for me to break them 🤣

I have the black matte Madrid with the large silver buckle you show and I love them. I'm considering getting the black patent Arizonas with the big gold buckles, but I'm worried they are hard to break in. What did you find?
They're a bit heavier looking than the more delicate Madrids (especially with dresses); although I LOVE the way the glossy colors look, they are a little stiffer initially and rub a bit more when breaking in.
