If the people see our once proud and invincible royal navy being used as a taxi service for migrants the people will leave the torries in their thousands. So if we put the navy in the channel they must be allowed to do the job uninterrupted.
I thought the Royal Navy were there to defend the realm, not a bloody taxi service for juniors with beards.
If I was in the navy and instructed to taxi immigrants I'd have to go AWOL,rather get court Marshalled than embarrass myself
The Navy was sent into the Indian Ocean to counteract the Somali pirate threat. They were only allowed to shoot outboard motors if there were no persons within yards and only accross the boat. Any pirates captured were put ashore until one of the islands set up courts. Yuming rights will rule the day and our matelots/marines will have to babysit these poor frightened refugees.

This isn’t something for the navy. Two vessels can’t patrol all that water anyway. What would be good if the govt could actually send out a tough message to stop people coming, rather than opening their arms wide. Indeed, by taking them in the govt have become part of the people trafficking process. They need to break that link for starters.
