Great video as always, thanks. When the 465s were introduced in the very early 1990s they were certainly an improvement on the slam-door rolling stock. Was never very keen on the 3+2 seating and one's knees always have a fairly close relationship with one's neighbours!
As a commuter at the time, reliability of the Networkers was a big problem. Couldn't rely on getting to work on time for a long time. Door issues mainly I think.
Been up to London today. Saw several between Orpington and Cannon Street. I'm working on a video of Wimbledon which includes recent shots of those still with SWR.
Great Video! Your camera really has a great zoom, mine would go blurry with a tiny bit of zoom. Well done on getting both liveries of 707! As of Saturday 16th October 2021 16/30 would have transferred to SE so after tonight signifies the time where SE have the majority of the fleet.
Is Southeastern going to retain most of the Class 465 and Class 466 Networkers as some of the Class 465s have been replaced by the Class 707 City Beam and are to be moved to Worksop for storage. And the new franchise to take over from Sunday 17th October.
I can't imagine that there will be any money for a total fleet replacement, however if the future of Litchurch Lane becomes uncertain, political considerations might come into play. Roger Ford hinted on Twitter this morning that there might be issues arising from decisions being made about the HS2 fleet. I think he expected a story to break in the press today but the murder of an MP has probably postponed that.
It probably will, there's a whole bunch of them left I don't see them getting replaced anytime too soon , or at least until new units are ordered, I quite frankly enjoy these units so I don't really want them to go too soon lol. .
Nice video of trains at Chiselhurst and surprise 707s came out to play in the end :).,

I use a Panasonic Lumix TZ90. It has a good optical zoom.
Interesting as ever. Bit of a bad joint between the model baseboards at 12:25...
Indeed.
When I went there a week ago there was so much fog.

@@gapthemind--mindthegap8524 Yes that was near Southend. But why comment that on here.
I don’t get why you got in as it said on SE website that they can’t accept filming requests, and you managed to get in for filming
That is probably about commercial filming. The guidelines for enthusiast photography are on the Network Rail and BTP websites.
