It should be noted, that the handle may tear out... it's happened to several photographers with loaded bags. There is a newer version, more robust handle attachment... I used the X300 for several years.. loved it, save for the handle problem.
Just got back from a trip to the Amazon with my X300.Fit 2 bodies, a telephoto zoom, 3 larger lenses, 3 smaller lenses, a flash, about 20 batteries, a laptop, a tablet, and more. No problems fitting into the overhead on our 6 flights. It stood up to the abuse of the Amazon on boats, rain, mud. All my gear got home intact. The temptation is to fill up the bag, and I brought more than I needed for the trip, but it's also a great "go bag" to keep ready at all times for quick escapes.
I have the 200 model, it is such a well built bag. I normally use this bag just for storing all my gear. But in the last half a year been talking this bag to work everyday. Good solid bag
We have been using this bag for about six months now and it is incredible! The abuse we've put this bag through and it still holds up. We need a second one now but not because wear and tear but because it is just so super versitile and we have lots of gear. BTW: The make-shift tripod on the handle really does work. I used it in a pinch and it was perfect! another reason to get another one!
Cool stuff Matt, Lowepro stuff is pretty good in my experience, I thought about a Tamrac roller recently but all I have is backpacks and some large shoulder bags and toploaders.
I've got a crumpler gourmet extravaganza for my general storage of gear, and a pelican 1514 for essentials on location. both are built like tanks and extremely heavy.
Do they let you take it inside an airplane? Are the dimensions corresponding to the dimensions of carry-on bags on-board? Also, you didn't comment much on the backpack, if it's adequately padded and balanced. The last part was very brief where you're showing the inside of the case and took the backpack out.
I just arrive from the store. I saw the new model (AW). The sales man make me realize that the back pack it is clearly not prepared for taking a full loaded capacity weight because of the straps. Whatsoever, it could be useful in some occasions.
I bought this beg few weeks ago and its looks different in everything - from the pockets in the front and in his handle im trying to understand how to open the ts lock and how can i put my tripod
Very disappointed with my bag! There is no wheels replacement! You will use the bag for a year but you will have to buy another one because the rubber of the wheel will wear off. The annoying thing is that my bag still looks great but useless. Until Lowepro don't fix this issue, I wouldn't recommend it.
Fits in the overhead bin? No hard, nasty looks from airport security or the flight attendants? Wow! Tell me you were travelling in tourist class, not business or first class with bigger bins.

I guess I am kinda off topic but does anybody know of a good place to watch newly released tv shows online ?
would've been cool to see you filling it up with gear!

Which photo backpack would you recommend? Small DSLR (Pentax K-5) and DA SMC 18-55 and F 80-200 (both pretty small)
Fat's a Damn Huge bag. I am using the Think Tank Security, which is also a damn big huge mammoth TSA cert.'s as well.

"For shits and gigglez Roller"
Haha, you always know how to put humor in every video!
Nice one!
The x200 is nice roller bag I was looking at as well and can be allowed as a carry on. Google it.. looks nice.

My mistake, actually. Turns out I have the slightly smaller X200. Still pretty big, but technically OK for overhead bins.
Finally another vdo...
I have one for my NEX, Lenses, P&S, Polaroid 103, & Konica S3 and they just barely fit.

Hi, does it fit into cabin luggage please?
Lets see tina get in that bag!!
end made me lol
great review
Also, what's your mother's maiden name and shoe size? Thanks.
can i take it inside a plane i mean by the size
also is it big difference between x100 and x300
I have an oder version, fantastic bag, tough, spacious if painful to lift at every staircase :)
Reviewing a bag without putting camera gear in it is like reviewing a car without driving it.
Mine weighs over 70lbs. with everything inside
can this beast be stored in a airplane overhead bin?
I checked the price reference...I died inside
I agree with TheFriendlyamoeba. I would like to see that bag stuffed with your gear
Now I want a "for shits and giggles" roller. :D
FOR SHITS AND GIGGLES? ROFL! (sorry about the caps, but this one deserves it). I'm going to laugh about this one all night.

Please refrrain from trying to fit dear Tina in the bag. Great review Matt thanks.
