Casper The White Lion And Brothers All Together With The Satara Lion Pride. Was This The Last Time?

- Casper the White Lion and his three Shishangaan brothers are about to turn ten.
During their reign over the Satara Lion Pride, they fathered approximately 15 cubs, only two of which appear to have reached sub-adulthood. Three baby cubs were recently born, and we hope they will reach adulthood.
This is not a good record given their nearly five-year reign over the pride.
The Shish brothers are getting older, and the Satara Pride requires new blood to ensure its future and heritage.
Mfowethu is definitely not in good shape, and Casper is limping again.
Was this the last time Casper the white lion and his brothers were all together with the Satara pride?

Not long ago I discovered Casper and wow I think he is such a charismatic creature. Beautiful! Lions - true warriors.

In my mind, the Shish brothers are ageless. So, I'm going to enjoy this moment in time when all four brothers and the pride were together. I wish this pride had been more successful. But, the two sub-adult cubs look well. My hope and prayer for today is that the most recent three cubs survive through their first year, giving them a good chance to carry on the Shish legacy. Thank you for this beautiful video!

They all look great. When you are a white lion then all scratches and bruises look more pronounced including the dirt. He looks great.

Oh wow Casper is limping again and badly. Still it is good to see them all together and I believe we will see them all together again. A coalition of four big male lions is a strong coalition and even at ten years old and with an injury or two, they are still a force to be reckoned with. Dont count them out yet!!!. ❤

Poor Casper and Mfowethu. Makes me worry seems like something is going on the this pride and coalition. You have a good question and idk but it will be hard on Casper and the brothers bigger coalitions coming in and younger ones as well. I do hope we will see them all together again. I cant think about what their future holds for them wuth them reaching 10. Only 10 percent of lions make it to there age an older. Not very good odds. It seems the numbers dont lie because if only 2 made it out of 15? The numbers seem to be correct with 1 out pf 8 making it to adulthood. Thats depressing a bit i was hoping those numbers were wrong but this sorta proves it. Well idk im concerned for all the lions.

The Brothers do not look in the greatest of shape. I really hope that they can all stay together & Rule for a while Longer. It would be a shame, if the pride lost it's Leaders !

This is a tight pride! you can tell they area unit.
As they love to invent endings... luckily the only truth is reality... and the reality is that the 4 brothers continue to govern their pride and their territory, they managed to expel the 6 mayambulas who were younger lions and surpassed them in number...they always underestimated these brothers but they have already shown that they are always fighting against adversity. I think Casper has been limping occassionally since the first videos I saw with them 2 years ago and he still looks pretty good. Footlose and Casanova look pretty good too so they could still be a strong coalition even if they're not 4 by the end of the year. Of course, Casper seems to be closer to Mfowethu than the other two, so who can tell what's going to happen?

In that country a Veterinarian should check on Casper and his brothers they seem to be very popular with the tourist, and we as humans should also respect the lions surroundings with the car motor engine noise. Too loud .. a more recent post mama lioness was trying to call out for her missing cub but with all the engine noise with tourists her

It looks like Mfowthu and Casper got into a fight with each other over a lioness, Or other lions. Odd their both limping. Those vehicles are too close!! 😡

Question: Planning our first trip to the Kruger, asked my brother who is a SanParks guide, he said to only turn off your engine when the distance between you and the animal is safe, never when they are less than 10m away from the car (especially a low car). Just in case the animal decides to inspect the vehicle.
Checked on SanParks website, and this rule is nowhere to be found.
We are going in a low car...so is this rule valid?
Update: Apparently it is not in the rules nor should it be followed if not applicable.

They've been hanging around the pride alot lately. Wonder if they still feel the presence of the mayanbulas... they should take on the threat head on, but they not that type of coalition.
No, they aren't. They still haven't chased away Zorro even. He could be mating with some adults and eating their hard-earned food....
I am sure that they did not survive for this long in this competitive environment just laying around. I am also sure that if they wanted to they could kill Zoro even now and I luv the fact that they do not see him as a threat and leave him be because remember the lioness themselves can kick him out if they wanted to so it is also likely that Zoro helped them bring game down when Shishangaans are away.

Good. Recessive gene. I know we luv when we see whites but it is easier for them to survive not being white so I am glad personally
