i guess im randomly asking but does someone know a way to get back into an Instagram account? I stupidly forgot my login password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me.
I heard this song ONCE breaking the album up into parts over a few days. Two songs stuck into my brain and this was the stronger of them. Stickier than glue, would not undue!
Second part of the ablum, where this and some other tracks are - "Moon, Down, Lower, Pixel" - they have been created in more minimalistic way, than the first half, and definitely has a way less risks in it's composition and sound itself, but they way Leprous did it... amazing. I truly believe Bilateral and now The Congregation - if not phenomenal albums, but very close to this point.
I've just discovered this band. I've played music for years and practiced speed. This is an exercise in slow precision. If you're a noob like me the live version of this is even better.
This reminds me of a short story I wrote about a little girl who died and for some reason manifested into a sort of demon, following and inadvertently tormenting her own brother.
I was gonna say what the first guy said but I can add that people are so addicted to shit music. It's like Plato's Cave, no matter what you tell them they won't believe that there's something better than Cardi B and Kanye East
@@mynt4153 Ah damn man. That's a bummer. I couldn't get there simply because I didn't have a ride. Closest too me was 3 hours away and the only person here at the house with a car wouldn't take me up there. Definitely gonna try to get to a show in the future. Apparently when Leprous and The Ocean were touring. The Oceans vocalist Loïc Rossetti broke his legs during one of his stunts while live. They did two more shows after, but had to send him back to Switzerland. They continued the tour of course, but it sounds like it was a wild tour for both of them.
I remember hearing it being a nod to how inhumane the meat industry is. Basically the depressive fucked conditions they're in, because even I will admit as a massive carnivore, I love meat, seeing the conditions the animals have to live in, is just sad. But this song also is to represent someone who feels as if they're a slave to someone else, telling them to end it all essentially. Honestly, it's really up to you, but the two I mentioned are what I heard, personally I prefer the second, but the first translation wouldn't surprise me neither, I know a lot of bands that hate the industries managment.
Silvain Nordseal the lyrics aren't great to be honest. not to be insensitive or discriminative but I don't think English would have been the lyricist(s)' first language (I could be wrong). to me that would explain why some of the lyrics are kind of nonsensical and out of place
Silvain Nordseal i read in a interview about leprous, says this song talk about the animal pain, about the animals are like a slaves for us, but i dont know if this song really talks about that thing or not :/ And sorry for my english, haha i dont know if mi comment are all understood
The lyrics of “ Slave” deal with the unethical meat industry check Einar's interview here www.modernheavymetal.net/2017/03/mhm-artist-interview-einar-solberg.html
i think that statement of the food industry is from the interviewer. I dont see this theme in the lyrics. And also nothing to do with the concept of the album
JESUS PLEASE PROTECT ME AND MY FRIENDS AT ANY COST I LOVE YOU AS MUCH I JUST NEED A GOOD DAD,FRIEND,PARENT JUST LIKE YOU JESUS😭😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 I DONT WANT ANYTHING BECAUSE YOUR EVERYTHING!!!! PLEASE FORGIVE ME AND MY FRIENDS OF ANY FOOLISH ACTIONS,SINS,,OUR ETERNAL LOVE IS FOREVER!!!!!!!😇🙏🔯🔥
+lunarforce compared to? it has a refrain and chorus. Which build on repetition with the growing intensity of the music. Repetition when done right (in my opinion, like this) is powerful. When it's like every pop-song. Not so much.
Michael Cole i dont think so, i believe that vocals make the sound of the track more sensitive, more emotional, i think the screams represent the pain better than others way to sing (only on this song, cause the others song, for me are minus painfull) SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH, i'm from spain. i hope all my coment are understood Y.Y
Also those are black vocals and with the intensity and the emotions the song tries to present it fits so damn well, an unexpected flurry of rage, fear and sadness leading to the final crescendo, tho I know the vocals dont fit everyone's ears.
His voice is absolutely amazing!!!
Probably my favorite ever
One of the best tracks on the album
I agree with you.
close second to third law

GOOSEBUMPS. This is INSANE. (in the best way ever)
I just love Einar's voice
I've been singing this chorus all day long at work. That's how effective it is!
I heard this song ONCE breaking the album up into parts over a few days. Two songs stuck into my brain and this was the stronger of them. Stickier than glue, would not undue!
Just a superb CD - this being one of the best tracks on it. A brave band pushing their own distinct sound out there and gaining a loyal fanbase.
Love this band
I am going to trek a very long trail in August. I will have this chorus in my mind when I struggle and wail.
This is beautiful.
This is Art.
Heard this one live, I most say I’m thankful I had the chance to witness this
The live version is so much better too, especially when Einar really goes hard and there's double the drummers :D
live it was even better :D

MASTERPIECE ALBUM!!!!!
This is the best song i've ever heard!
This song, incredible. Such a powerful and rich voice! And the music (😘) perfection.

That's true, yet the second part is my favorite. Absolute flawless run from Red to the end IMO.
I love his voice.

It is a Masterpiece!!! 🎶🙏👍
Awesome band! Just amazing! 🔥
Your the best band Ever!!! 😍😍
I can't be the only one that would like to hear Dimash sing this.
This reminds me of a short story I wrote about a little girl who died and for some reason manifested into a sort of demon, following and inadvertently tormenting her own brother.
something i'd do.. my duty as the younger sister
This video is perfect!

this is an incredible powerful song!!
It’s about depression innit
masterpiece!
i am suprised how his live sounds even more awesome
This could be a James Bond movie intro
NO, because James Bond is too mainstream! :)
Hey that's what I wrote just now! Now I had to delete it :D
I was gonna say what the first guy said but I can add that people are so addicted to shit music. It's like Plato's Cave, no matter what you tell them they won't believe that there's something better than Cardi B and Kanye East

I fucking hate bond shit.
Amazing Band

Eargasmic band
I cannot believe I am just now hearing this
Mark of quality for a metal song is being put in a fan Doom 2 map!
And I'm so thankful, for this was my way into this band!
Eviternity
I was so happy when I heard this in eviternity, took me completely by surprise haha
I thank those guys so much for that, because without it I wouldn't even know about Leprous.
🔥🔥🔥🔥👍
one month before I see you guys... I cant wait fuckkkkkkkk
I heard The Ocean had toured with them? How was the show on both ends?
@@vesuvius115 I unfortunately couldn't make the show.... gas prices where I lived spiked super high and I couldn't afford the trip in my truck

Does anyone else hear a little influence from O Fortuna?
YES
I don't say this often, but I liked the live version even more than this one.
Anyone here because of Eviternity?

New album Malina coming out in August :3

So great like Devin Townsend - Deadhead song.

nice video but the lyrics seem too repetitive ..
lunarforce It's nothing new of Leprous, and one of the reasons I enjoy them.
+lunarforce compared to? it has a refrain and chorus. Which build on repetition with the growing intensity of the music. Repetition when done right (in my opinion, like this) is powerful. When it's like every pop-song. Not so much.
This is great, but I think if it were 3 minutes long it would be perfect. A bit repetitive.
Don't get me wrong I love this album, but I was hoping for a Bilateral 2! Sorry! !
Glen Nielsen Like the last album Coal. this LP takes many spins before I liked it as much as Bilateral.
it was good until the death roars...
You dont belong here
I love death metal vocals, but I think this song would do well without them.

those vocals have nothing to do with "death roars"
