I absolutely do not wanna have to tear into the transaxle on mine. Thinking of just a motor pulley switch on mine to stay away from issues right now. Welding diff i will do on another project so im interested in watching lol.
Most pulleys won't be this hard to take off. There are definitely other ways to go about it but if you only want a medium speed increase making the front crank pulley larger will work. Taller drive tires will increase your top speed as well.
