You don’t have to double cleanse your skin if you don’t wear make up, for some people it can be bad

「That’s what she said」 Actually, double cleansing can be beneficial for people that don’t wear makeup, because everyone should be wearing sunscreen and you also sweat and get all kinds of dirt on your face throughout the day and sometimes just a water based cleanser isn’t enough :)

I have acne prone skin, i rarely use makeup but definitely use sunscreen every single day. I used to think like you, on my no makeup days i don't double cleanse, hence my breakout are getting worse. Since i do double cleanse every single night, it changes my skin tremendously.
Just do it, you won't regret it.

Don't forget the most important step, the step that if you skip, you might as well not do any of the other 9 steps you just listed because it's basically pointless............. *putting SPF on as your final step in your morning routine!!* (no need for it in your night time routine before bed!!)

I just started using K-beauty about a month ago and can't say enough, I too am Korean, adopted as a baby and was never told about Korean skin care, nor did I ever see my mother do any skin care routine. She only wore lipstick and that was to church. My skin is extremely oily and have huge pores. I love the 5 to 10 plus steps and have adjusted accordingly from am to pm routine. I realize it's never too late to take care of yourself and your skin. Thank you for helping me have the skin I was meant to have.
I’m so glad you had Charlotte cho make a skincare video. She’s educated on skincare and has a license so she knows what she’s talking about. There’s so much false information out there about skincare and she’s someone I feel like I can trust to tell the truth.

Glad to see that she actually applied the sheet mask right after toning, unlike other people who apply it after serum. She actually knows how skin care works!
In one of her earlier into the gloss posts, she actually listed sheet mask as a step after essence and ampoule.

Sheet masks are kind of the same as serum, so it's a serum step as well, very interchangeable
actually it doesn’t matter if you do the steps differently obviously you don’t cleanser after you moisturise but with leave on steps you get the same results if you mix them up.
Can someone tell me did she wash her face after the mask step?
I am Asian and used to do the 9 step skincare routine. But I dont like the feeling of having a bunch of products on my face, it feels cakey, plus it didnt do much to my skin after 1 year. So now I just do my pretty simple routine. My night time routine: double cleanser, toner, serum (sometimes 2 treatment serums, depending on the situation of the skin), eye cream, moisturiser or face oil (depends on the humidity that night). And it works just fine for me, no need to waste money on so many products 😌 and dont forget spf every day.
Thank you!!! I've watched a lot of videos by Charlotte and I'm really sick of the lies she tells. You don't need to do anything more than cleanse, moisturise and use SPF.
Double cleansing clears the skin of oil based impurities and water based impurities. It's also recommended by derms and estheticians

I feel this is the most correct skincare routine I have ever watched .
As i’m a korean, and i do very common level of skincare routine, i didn’t put all the skincare routine. I only put 1~2 steps of serum/cream on my skin before going to bed. Sometime i use sheet mask..
But 2 steps of cleansing is important. I always remove my makeup with oil/cream texture remover and then use gel texture facial form cleanser.
Just a request, please don't use sheet masks as they pullute the envirronmnet so much.

Yesssss I have been waiting for thiis! I love people who talk about ingredients and explain why a product is beneficial and who for. Also she is so knowledgeable so even though we have different skin types I really appreciate her recommendations because she knows what she's talking about😍😍😍😍
Unfortunately she doesn't know about ingredients, she makes several claims about snail mucin in this clip and states they are "proven" - they are not. There is no scientific evidence to support anything she says in this clip. A simple google search can verify this.

@@paytonkonen8518 the cleanser was honestly a bit drying for me. I have dry sensitive skin myself. So i opted to give it to a friend with oilier skin type.
Payton Konen Hey! Just wanted to follow up on this comment if you still wanted. I have dry and flaky skin during the winter time, and the cleanser used alongside the balm honestly does wonders for my skin. I always make sure to follow up the both of them with a toner, an essence to help my skin retain moisture even better, and a nice hydrating moisturizer. Hope this helps!

PSA if you have seasonal allergies be careful with snail mucin! I have very non reactive not sensitive skin but I have serious seasonal allegies (pollen, grass, ragweed, dust mites,etc). When I tried the cosrx snail mucin essence my eyes swole shut and my sinuses blew up like i had been snorting straight ragweed...was so confused so i started researching. I started out by googling "does snail mucin have pollen in it" LOL. Turns out theres a statistically significant cross allergy between dust mites and snail mucin! Who knew, its not very commonly known I had to dig to find it. The more you know 😀

Question: Why did you use the sheet mask before Essence and serums? Thanks! LOVE Soko Glam BTW! You should make an app.
Maritza because sheet mask will be removed from the face and it then the serums and ampoules will be applied for a better absorption and the main reason that they will stay on your face the whole night. If you put sheet mask at the end, your serum and ampoules don't have time to set in.
