    I rode a souped up VMAX in the US for 22 years, but I moved to Thailand 18 years ago and have only had smaller bikes. I just got a bobber and it is perfect. Riding 170mph on the highway in the US is equally dangerous to just riding the speed limit here in Thailand. I think I made a good choice.

    I've had Japanese bikes, American, buell and harley, and now the exact bike you have there. Let me tell you, i couldn't be more excited about this bike. It's a blast to ride.

    Nice bike , too bad Triumph doesn’t put an effective front mud guard on the bike , look at all that muck crammed into the radiator!

    That is A VERY BEAUTIFUL MACHINE... Nothing wrong with having a few tools in the shed. I keep a 2018 Kawasaki Zed 900 naked for those twisty moments and a 2023 FXST that is being upgraded as I type this from a 107 CI to a 119 CI Screaming Eagle stage 3. big twins, low slung organic beast that makes a huge smile when you crack the throttle. I may get the Triumph 120 Bobber as a 3rd bike...love them all. sounds soooooo GOOD. THANKS FOR SHARING.👍👍👍

    Love the update. Just put my mirrors back to up/ stock location because I just didn’t like having you basically stare down at the mirrors and I don’t like it. Have a great ride.

    It’s a great bike. The stock exhaust sounds good, but remove the Cat and it sounds fantastic. I’ve also fitted a Fox shock which does improve the rear suspension.

    • @midlife-crysis
      @midlife-crysis  9 месяцев назад

      That’s a plan in the future. But been told the 2023 version the cat is welded in and removing it is very expensive

      @@DD-lc5tshow do you get through the MOT without the cat? My car was decatted and had to swap back to the cat just to get through the mot. Ive got a stock VFR but would love to straight through it but cant be arsed going through the headache of swaping cats all the time.

      The UK doesn’t have an emission test for motorcycles. It’s louder without the Cat’ but not excessive. I’ve kept the Cat and can refit it if the MOT changes.

    It’s a lovely bike and I agree the shock exhaust is good enough. You defo need both types of bike in your garage. I can testify that it’s amazing being able to choose a chilled or maddog ride based on what you feel like!

      I agree with you, I got a speed twin (smaller 900) and a thruxton - and they serve my swings in mood well. Some days are just shit and you feel angry or down... last thing you wanna sit on is a killer rocket.

    • @spearmintvole9522
      @spearmintvole9522 9 месяцев назад

      I recently rode a speed twin. Part of my test route included a looser surface. I’ve never felt so on the edge of an accident and the anti lock brakes were making themselves known for no good reason. None of my older bikes have any drama on the same surface. Same BS with the bigger Triumph Twins and I really wanted to like them. Shame.

    I just had my 2024 Triumph Bobber serviced. The mechanic offered to do a free ECU update. The motorcycle sounds and runs great! The only problem is the high gearing and conflicts with the ECU when changing sprocket sizes.

    • @big500
      @big500 2 месяца назад

      If you wish, you can eliminate the gearing/ECU conflict using tune ECU.

    better then an Indian Bobber?

    • @midlife-crysis
      @midlife-crysis  6 месяцев назад

      No. But for me yes. The Indian was faster and in red it was unbelievable cool. But couldn’t buy one, seat and body position not comfortable and sound with standard stock exhaust was poor so would need more money spent to get it to sound as cool as it looks

    Looking forward to buying one of these to compliment my Scramber 900..but an absolute ’must do’ is to swap both front and rear suspension to progressive springs. They’re not expensive and completely transforms the ride.
    I’d swap the exhausts too but that’s just me..
