Dude have your tank checked. If you keep going huge ass speed bumps over 30mph obviously some is gonna crack. Have a mechanic look at it man, it’s not normal and I believe it’s just wear and tear and not specific to the bike

I have the same issue (24' 1100t) I adjusted the suspension and it helped a bit but still shakes. Super annoying if we really have to replace brand new tires..

Beautiful bike and nice little review. I've been riding superbikes for 20 years and am finally coming to the realization that a change is in order, the thought of riding a completely different style of bike such as the bobber or speed twin is pretty scary.

This is the most amazing "review" of a Bobber. simply lovely.

Superb machines. I have the standard with the 19" front tire, i like that look better - the fats on both ends are too much, too bulbous. As is the larger tank they later went to. But as you said, to each their own. Lotsa guys like bulbous. I also like the pipes that come with the bike. Not only do they look perfect for the machine, they are not overly aggressive sounding - just right. The bike almost sounds like a European sportscar. The sound is there for sure but no one's gonna think you're just another obnoxious dude stranded in adolescence.

Try the 1200 RS - lighter, nimbler and more power ;-)

Really want this as a second bike! I see barely anything bad about it, just not there financially at the moment. Could definitely get it but my job is also at stake right now and it's just exhausting to think about..

Remove that horrible rear fender assembly, get rid of the stock exhaust with automobile sized cat, change out to a lithium battery and remove several pounds of hoses, canisters and solenoids from under the seat/gas tank. Then get the ECU flashed to get rid of that terrible power curve. This will completely transform this bike to the next level. A bonus is, the bike will actually be easier and more fun to ride because those lean spots in the power curve will be gone

What is the Triumph Bobber. It’s a can do bike. Mine can carve around the tight bends of the Lancashire and Yorkshire Dales. It can bob along for six hour rides. With its screen on it can, so I’ve heard, happily sit on the Motorway at speeds above the legal limit.

I’ve kept the original silencers but with an X pipe decat’. When under load the sound is a fantastic heavy thump. I prefer it to the sound of straight through pipes.

I prefer the T120 Bonneville these things look fake a bit cheesy.

Do you realise that the police can still work out that you were speeding just by analysing your video and using the white lines on the road and how quickly you are passing them. So unwise to break the rules. 😮

I now understand why my Bobber-owning mate is picking up speeding tickets at the rate he is.

I disagree re comfort and cruising. I often go for more than 3 hour rides without issue. Yes, it urges you to blast along but is equally as enjoyable bumbling along. The torque is amazing and must be one of the best bikes I've owned.
