If you can access the meditation training modes in a non New Game+ save, that's not intentional. Respawn has said those modes are (supposed to be) only for New Journey+, but they appear to be bugged for some people.
The other important thing about the battle grid, is that you can earn any of the achievements/trophies in it. That includes the legendary beast achievement, mine was glitched and didn’t unlock when I killed the last one. Got it yesterday by just spawning all four on the grid and beating them. I’ve just used the battle grid to earn all the achievements I didn’t get through my play through. Like kicking back, Cal got your tongue, can’t touch this, triple take, not so fast and kick off.
I waited until it was on sale for like $10-20 off due to the fact that it was just a story game and not worth $60, I'm glad that they added more content

I hope that if they do a follow up game they add a: more enemy variety. b: More Costumes that are actually costumes ( not just poncho re-colores) c: A completely overhauled combat system ( like add lightsaber forms who all play differently and add a 2 lightsaber style ( which is also a lightsaber form) and Lightsaber staff as well ) and last d: more force powers. And then it would be the best star wars game i can imagine :D

I’ve always dreamed of having a Star Wars game on the journeys of a padowan in the Jedi order around the era of the clone wars. You would start by picking what species you would want to be like a Twi’lek, human, zabrak or whatever with different species having different attributes. The first scene would be a Jedi coming to your home world and taking you from your family, similar like what we seen with Plo Koon with Ashoka. Your journey would start as a young child trying to awaken the force sensitivity in you by completely various trials. You will be in a group of other individuals with higher and lower midichlorian counts than you so some will be stronger and some will be weaker. It’s then up to you try and impress your teacher whether it’s Yoda or Tera Sinube. To further strengthen your knowledge, you can go to the Jedi library to learn new skills and abilities. You will be able to decide what lightsaber form you will choose, what colour blade and how you construct your lightsaber. Once your finally ready you will attempt your padowan trials but you don’t really fit in with all the other younglings and don’t really talk and seem to be the weakest in the group. Your also quite arrogant and seek around from time to time. You do your trails and if you pass, you will be approached by a Jedi knight or master. You’ll be taken under there wing and fight along side them and their battalion of clones in which you will have a good relationship with. You’ll train with your master and fight many battles until it’s time for you to face the Jedi knight trails and to be knighted. From here you have a choice to either take in a padowan and try pursue to rank of Jedi master, become a Jedi temple guard, a Jedi sentinel or whatever. And from here, it’ll be around half way through the clone wars and you’ll face the rest of the war with endgame style hard difficult missions and the ending will be order 66. Only elite players will survive and you only have one chance to survive so you best be prepared. This game would take years and years to make but it would be something I’d wait for. It should play similarly to Jedi the fallen order and would be a very long game to complete with loads of side missions and consumables to collect. The lobby would be the Jedi temple which might be a bit over kill

Omg imagine, I always wish there was an open world Star Wars game, online maybe too, where you can create your own Jedi, would be amazing and free roam different planets, side quests n stuff

MY PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED! I was just about to start up a new save cause I already beat the game as I wanted more Star Wars and was sad after hearing the news about battlefront 2. I had mentioned to my friend back in december that I've been wanting to do this. he told me just to wait for the new game plus. at first I was hopeful but then started getting worried that they just simply brushed off the criticism and went back to working on other games as they hadn't really said they were ever going to release something like this. This really warms my heart that respawn not only listened but took the time and effort to release DLC like this, especially for free. I wasn't that big of a respawn fan but I am more of one now and this just makes me more excited for Jedi Fallen Order 2!

Wish we also got the white crystals for the sabers... and more customization for the sabers (hilts and emitters, etc) would've been dope to make anakins... obi wans.. but more specifically ahsokas sabers.

I can access the Arena modes on my old save but not the inquisitor outfit or the lightsaber customizations. The only disappointment about this update is that there is no black lightsaber color.
Well in terms of a black lightsaber colour there is literally only supposed to be one blade in the entire cannon with that colour . The Dark saber. However this is a game and you should be able to say “hey why the hell not it could be fun”

I beat the game and started journey plus but don’t have the force powers I had while playing the game everything was gone
Until they incorporate/update the ability to fast travel back to the ship, I’m not playing anymore.

They didn't. I got the game just earlier this week and completed it, and today I started my NG+ and nothing's different.

Wish we also got the white crystals for the sabers... and more customization for the sabers (hilts and emitters, etc) would've been dope to make anakins... obi wans.. but more specifically ahsokas sabers.

That's actually a reason to start another playthrough, I already used mods to get a red lightsaber, but the new dark side outfit is a really cool addition and I'm happy for all the console players that really wanted a red lightsaber, there you go buds ;)

I never upgraded after I beat the game so for me it’s go time
I can access the Arena modes on my old save but not the inquisitor outfit or the lightsaber customizations. The only disappointment about this update is that there is no black lightsaber color.

Well in terms of a black lightsaber colour there is literally only supposed to be one blade in the entire cannon with that colour . The Dark saber. However this is a game and you should be able to say “hey why the hell not it could be fun”
