Hmm maybe instead of braking, you lift off throttle? Irl or in sims makes the car have more grip on the front tires which should help with handleing

You can drift, just by pressing space while turning in the direction you want

You can go around the corners 50x better if you just drift but for some reason you choose not to and i dont know why :/
