This might be the LONGEST running animated show on Netflix and one of the longest shows in both episode and seasonal count. That is already a milestone. The people behind this series should be proud of themselves for this accomplishment !!! They are able to tell a full story rather than to get rushed or canceled on a cliffhanger.

Is it? I dunno. Wasn't Votron like 7-8 seasons? And I don't know if it's just my perception or whatever, but I feel like those 7-8 seasons somehow came out in like 4 years or less. It was drastically faster turnaround, for some reason.

They lost more than half their audience and 2 seasons of their show had been poorly received. They’ve only made 1 good season since their first arc. I wouldn’t call their longevity a milestone considering it’s one of the most criticized aspects of the series.

Some thoughts at a glance:
- If Aaravos is bringing dead spirits to the real world that might mean we'll see several dead characters return, both good and bad.
- The scene with Rayla, Astrid and Pyrah looks like it's in Lux Aurea's throne room. This probably means the final battle will take place in Lux Aurea and will probably end with the Sunforge being cleansed
- The inclusion of a moon primal stone could mean we'll see Callum use more moon magic this season
*Extra points to add! (i did some analysis)*
-Not only is Callum fighting Claudia, he’s protecting Akiyu and Runaan too! (Akiyu is probably a prime target, since she majorly helped with the imprisonment of Aaravos)
-When Claudia casts the spell to bring back the dead, Soren and Terry are also there, who probably failed to convince her that it was the wrong choice. We can also see someone on the floor, possibly Lujanne, and someone there with her. I’m not so sure who exactly…

- you're right, Callum is indeed fighting Claudia and protecting Runaan and Akiyu. The fact that it's at Akiyu's home suggests Claudia went there specifically to kill her. My guess is Aaravos wants to kill her not only for revenge but also to ensure she can't create another prison. If she died so would any chance of imprisoning him again
I'm excited about that fight as one thing I desperately wanted was for Callum to have a proper mage duel, either against Karim or Claudia. Hoping it has Zuko v Azula vibes
- looking over the nexus scene that is Lujanne on the floor with Aanya kneeling over her. This could mean Lujanne dies this season which is sad as I like her.
- The ghostly guy who is riding the dragon in the thumbnail appears to be Ziard, the dark mage who blinded Sol Regem, which supports my theory that multiple dead characters will appear this season!

Okay I’m calling it: Callum uses dark magic to save Rayla, and then she either kills Callum as promised or Callum offs himself. Then in the between world or whatever he realizes something about death as a new arcanum and brings himself and Leola back. Just saying, that would be a poetic ending and I think is a likely one.

I'm pretty sure that on their twitter they mentioned that season 7 is end of Myster of Aaravos, but not the end for the Dragon Prince as whole. So I guess they're going to stretch the plot and add yet another villain, something even bigger than our star elf. Or, what I would prefer, just do a spin-off.
I’d rather it end on a high then go on forever, slowly getting worse. Seven seasons is already a lot for a western animated show.

CALLUM and Rayla have been together for a long time since season one and I remember when they first kiss it was so good and I’m so happy that they are back together again!
One thing I want to hear Rayla say to Callum “I’m not going anywhere else again without you.” Just really want her to show HER dedication to Callum for a change, instead of it always coming from him. She already didn’t bother with a proper apology, so this is the absolute LEAST she could do.

Aaravos stealing all the stars makes sense, it’s probably the only way to actually hurt the Star-touched elves. After last season I’m kind of hoping for a surprise reveal that Aaravos’s daughter is alive again, they did mention killing a star touched elf was more like time-out because they’d just re-manifest when the stars aligned correctly and it has been a very long time since she died. Then again maybe Aaravos’ ultimate goal is to bring his daughter back by making the stars align.
I also wonder if Aaravos will have control over the dead he’s summoned, anyway a lot of potential for angst by making characters fight their loved ones.
I think Leola can't back like the celestial elves mentioned because the startouch elves killed her, they mentioned the novablad can kill their mortal form on Xadia, mortals can't kill startouch elves because their real soul is in the heavens.
Also I think Aaravos is afraid to see Leola again, he know she will be terrified to see what he became.

If Aaravos brings back the dead .that means the Viren might come back from the dead as a spirit or ghost like thing.
i literally thought soren died so was violently.when viren revealed the heart but when i saw the cut in his chest i was still violently sobbing.
I know everyone has compared Aaravos and his daughter, Leola, to Greek mythology and stories, like comparing Leola to Prometheus, but I feel like there is one story we’re all overlooking: Achilles.
Now this is what I read from another book and not the myth itself, so you can take it with a grain of salt.
Now, as you all know, Achilles was an almost invulnerable warrior of Greece, a true hero, especially in the Trojan war, but he wasn’t always this way. According to my source, after being disrespected by the King Agamemnon, he chose to leave the battlefield and live a peaceful life.
However, he does return to the fight, but only after the death of his close friend, Patroclus. Patroclus went to war and died there. Achilles felt guilty because he wasn’t there to protect him, and without him, Achilles’s life, he felt, was not worth living.
So, he returned to war and went on a true killing spree. He entered a berserker state; no reason, no restraint, no control.
He also rejected the qualities that Patroclus embodied: Kindness, mercy and compassion.
He even killed Patroclus’s killer, the Trojan Prince, Hector, and “denied him a proper burial, instead tying Hector’s body to his chariot, not because there is a tactical benefit in doing so, but because he refuses to give Hector dignity even in death.“
I definitely find this to be most like Aaravos, because he lost the one person he cares for the most, his daughter, Leola.
And even though, it wasn’t as beastly and more sophisticated and calculating than Achilles’s berserker mode, you can’t deny the similarities.
He went on a devastating killing spree, and took pleasure in others’ deaths, with no mercy, compassion or love, all qualities his daughter embodied.
He also killed his daughter’s killer, Anak Arow, or Sol Regem, and left his bones out for everyone to see, after giving him despair by telling him the true fate of his mate.

The story in this goes down incredibly dark paths for a kids tv show. The daughter cutting her leg off and mangling herself to save her father, how humans use magic. My kid is left with so many questions but we love watching it together.

We all want more of this show. Wonderstorm has plans for a third saga, but Netflix won't go for it unless everyone binges the entirety of season seven as soon as it drops. That's how Netflix decides which shows get renewed, so clear your schedules for December 19th and get ready to binge the final season of The Mystery of Aaravos, but hopefully not the final season of The Dragon Prince.

I just realized at 1:42 there’s what looks to be the head and shoulders of a Magma Titan at the bottom right of the frame.
It’s possible this could be the spirit of the same Magma Titan that was killed for its heart in season 2, since there’s a noticeable white gap around the chest area.
I also believe that because all these spirits seem to be congregating in The Valley of Graves (where Sol Regem perished last season), this could probably be the lead up to the shot of Ezran, Bait, Aanya and Zym (as well as a few Katolian soldiers) being surrounded by what are obviously hostile spirits….so maybe it’ll be involved in the fight

I couldnt be more grateful for what you gave to us. This is a magical story about Friendship, Love, Hate and, well, Magic. And it ends soon.
1:49 Could Soren have tried to attack Runaan and Rayla was defending her adoptive father from Soren? That seems to be a valid reason for why they would fight each other. But oh man! Will there be quite a rift between Rayla and Soren after everything they had been through since Season 3? Soren likely hates Runaan for killing King Harrow, but Rayla will not let anyone hurt her family, even if Runaan did wrong. Besides, Runaan surely had no evil intentions killing King Harrow? Why else would Rayla and Callum have saved him? Why didn't the creators leave him trapped forever in the coin?
I think killing someone always classifies as "evil intention" 😂
Also let's not forget that Runaan was willing to kill an innocent CHILD even after finding out the dragon prince's egg was alright. He is by no means a good person, but I can see a redemption arc coming for sure.

I’m absolutely in love with The Dragon Prince! The storytelling, the depth of the characters, and the incredible journey it takes us on are beyond amazing. Rayllum moments always bring a smile to my face, and the mysteries surrounding Aaravos, especially the idea of him taking control of Callum, have me hooked!
This series has captured my imagination like no other, and I can’t wait to see how the story unfolds in Season 7 and beyond. The world of Xadia feels so alive, and I hope we get to explore it even further in the future! 🌟
