For many visitors, the ADAC 24h Classic race is a highlight of the weekend in its own right. In the fast-paced homage to the now over 50-year history of the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring, historic racing cars follow in the footsteps of the endurance classic.
One newcomer is likely to capture the hearts of fans right from the start: the legendary Beckmann-Opel Manta competed in the 24h until last year and is finally moving into the camp of historic vehicles from this year onwards.

Thursday:
➡ 13:00 - 14:45h: Qualifying 1
➡ 20:00 - 23:30h: Qualifying 2
Friday:
➡ 13:30 - 14:45h: Qualifying 3
➡ 17:30 - 19:15h: TOP Qualifying
Saturday:
➡ 08:52 - 12:10h: ADAC 24h-Classic Race

What ever happened to the VW Passat hatch from the seventies...5 speed on the floor and i think 6 cylinder...i drove one and they were one of the fastest little cars on the road...but you never see them any more ???
Why is a Hyundai the pace car?
it looks strange but Hyundai has been a main sponsor for many years, so this is one of the things they get for promotion
Hyundai is a big Motorsport enjoying company so they spend money on the ring as far as I know! :)
Because Hyundai is a bottom of the pile, throw away car brand of manufacturers. Yeah they could of got a better pace car than that.
