Luke 17:26-27
26 ‘Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. 27 People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.

9 ‘To me this is like the days of Noah,
when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth.
So now I have sworn not to be angry with you, never to rebuke you again.

5 if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others;
1 Peter 3:20-21
20 to those who were disobedient long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water, 21 and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also-not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
I now look at the tribulation in AD70 like the flood. Noah was elected to bring about the transition between the world before the flood and the world after. So he preached and warn those whom God will judge. Through the ark Noah transitioned from the old to the new. He then repopulated the earth with the elected.
Jesus said the “last days” will be like the days of Noah. I have understood it to mean this way. Jesus will bring about the transition between the old and the new earth. By that he meant “Israel, Jerusalem and the law” will be changed into “the true sons of Abraham, new Jerusalem and the law of Christ which is written into the hearts”.
So God preserved himself 144,000 and numerous Gentiles and got them out of Jerusalem. These were called the elect. See Revelation 7.
They were to repopulate the new earth with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
So as God flooded the earth and brought an end to Noah’s former earth, God burned down the “old earth” i. e. Jerusalem to bring about a new Jerusalem.
He also burned the “old heaven” down. That was the temple. So that after the “fires”, God lives in a new temple. We are that temple.
Today we have transitioned from the old “heaven and earth”. We have crossed over. It is important for is to note that the term “heaven and earth” is a term that meant where heaven mets earth.
Think of it this way. Heaven is God’s home and earth is ours. Both separated because of sin. God in his mercy thereafter made it possible to have the two spheres meet. He did it via the temple. Where “heaven” meets “earth” through the blood of a lamb. That was the old “heaven and earth”. That was how God met men.
When John says Jesus was the Word became flesh, he used this word, he “tabernacled” among us. The temple suddenly was no longer the “heaven and earth”. Jesus became the place where God met men. After all, he is both God and man. Jesus became the temple. That’s why he said “I will destroy this temple and build in up in 3 days”. He was speaking of himself as the new temple.
When Jesus died he sent his spirit to his Father who then returned on Pentecost and filled the apostles. Paul calls our bodies the sanctuary or the temple of the Holy Spirit.
In AD70 that temple was totally destroyed. God no longer meets men in that Temple. No more in that “heaven and earth”. Jesus has come and infused his Spirit into us. He made us the “living stones”. These things tells us that now God lives in a building that consists of us as the “living stones”.
So now God meets us where we are. “Heaven and earth” is no longer a temple build by human hands but one that is built on a cornerstone Jesus. We are now the Temple where God dwells. We are the new “heaven and earth”.
That’s what God did. He took you out of the old earth and placed you in Christ. Just like he took Noah out of the old earth through the ark, he did it for you through Jesus, our ark.
Don’t look to the skies anymore for God. He is not there. He is here with you. You are the temple. Like Jesus you too are the place where God and man meet. You are the new “heaven and earth”.

While I agree that the number 144K is a metaphoric number...one group are of the descendants of the Tribes of Israel (who are NOT lost, but as scripture also teaches are now known by another name - God's word is true)...the other group are of ALL NATIONS, Kingdoms, tongues etc. I respectfully disagree with this interpretation.
Why would you say it is a metaphoric number? Take it literally. If you interpret text by being out of context, you err with a pretext.

The 144,000 are not the same as the great multitude dressed in white. You have to find the one from John 14 and Revelation 1:1-2 to know who the 144,000 and the great multitude are.
Remember the Ethiopian eunuch of Acts 8:26-40? He was a brilliant man but also needed to be taught the Bible, he was humble enough to ask for help to understand the Bible and God sent him help.
The 144,000 have a different role in God's kingdom than the role the great multitude will have.
People often read Revelation and think that only 144,000 people will be saved but and fail to see that a great multitude will also be saved.
Jehovah's Witnesses have it wrong too. They say the 144k have already been selected. If that was so then why would Jesus be evangelizing in the spiritual world, 1 Peter 3:19?
So, NO, the 144,000 and the great multitude are not the same people.
Fernando Rodriguez it’s possible that the witnesses teaching or understanding may perhaps be wrong and need adjusting.. only time will tell ..it does seem very obvious that the 144,000 and great crowd or multitude are not the same .. however Jah and his son will reveal things to us in due time.. we have to be humble and willing to continue seeking God’s kingdom and his truth..and accept his truth when it doesn’t agree with what we want his truth to be ..

144,000 is all about the Holy of Holies, dividing the area of the ark of the covenant into the area of the room in the tent of the Holy of Holies, the sum is 144,000 and how we are one and likened unto him! That makes more sense than a specific number.
Its possible the 12 tribes refers to the 12 dimensions of heaven of what "is real" the different vibrations and frequencies create different realities of experience hence we are in the 3rd and 4th now. God is one, life is one, love is one. All life within life wants the same love that's in their heart's. We are all life and we are all loved as mothers fathers brothers sister's sons and daughters we all want love and compassion. The only evil is the evil we create with our own judgment, hate, and violence from separating love. For God is in every heart and soul it's the energy of love some just connect to it more then others. The father and I are one could mean I am 1 with love and all love within love as is I am one with life and all within. We are all made of energy and love wether it's rock's plants animals or humans or any other higher dimensional life that has evolved past separation. @@agentjackstone3543 God speaks to us through dreams as to just one of the many way's he speaks to us. I have a past where my sibling rejected me, my mother rejected me, as well as my dad, a type of Joseph. It was tough, nearly died from a broken heart but by the love of God through his son, I've overcome it all. If we can only love them who love us, what benefit is that to us, even the heathen do this. We pray for someone until the spirit tells us to stop as in Jeremiah 7 were God had me stop praying for my own sibling who is guilty of the sin unto death, by being an oppressor.

Jesus loves me, spoken 500 times a day, for 21 days until I had experience the awesome love of my father and no longer hold anger towards anyone, but feel sorry that they don't know the Lord as I know him now, hope you hear what the spirit has to say! I'm just turned 60 and have entered into God's rest and I have seen God's hand in an open vision come below the clouds and hand me keys, and heard Abba's audible voice, say "My Abundance" Tears scour the heart~!

When has Hank ever denied the world wide flood? Never heard him say this. I personally think Hank is right. and Hank has never said that Jesus returned in the 1st Century. You are twisting what he said. so why would i want to listen to you when you twist what he has said? gezzzzzzzzzz how dumb.

Narrow is the road that leads to heaven. Very few people walk in it. Broad is the way that leads to destruction. Many people walk in it. Another one, many are called but few are chosen. This is Jesus speaking these words. Make him your Lord and Savior and ask for the grace to walk in the narrow path. Come out of religion.

Matthew 22:11-13 mentions that anyone without a wedding gown is not allowed in the marriage supper by Jehovah.
2 Corinthians 11:2-3 the apostle says that he promised them as a BRIDE for one husband (Jesus Christ) and that he must present them as VIRGINS. I know the vrigin part is not literal.
Revelation 14:1-4
Says that the 144,000 are on ( Mount ZION )and they are Virgins.
Revelation 21:9 says: let me show you the BRIDE of the Lamb. Then it says BRIDE was on a lofty mountain which is called MT Zion in Revelation 14:1-4.The BRIDE is the 144,000 and they are on MT Zion with Jesus.

Let us rejoice because the BRIDE has PREPARED herself. (The BRIDE is ADORNED with the WEDDING GARMENT).
I only see the 144,000 being the BRIDE and not the great crowd. Meaning that only the 144,000 have WEDDING GARMENTS. A wedding gown is only worn by the individual getting married. Since Revelation 7 makes a distinction between the 144,000 being presented to Jesus as virgins and the great crowd is not presented that way.
Some say that the great crowd will be in heaven and are the GUESTS invited to the Marriage supper. Yet Jehovah allows ONLY those that have MARRIAGE GARMENTS on. Meaning only those that make up the BRIDE. So that would exclude the great crowd from the marriage supper.
Please elaborate on this. I believe it is an interesting .

144,000 is the Jewish Church Converted To Christianity and sealed just like Gentile Church was sealed by the Blood of Jesus.
The Great Multitudes from all Nations, is The Gentile Church, fulfilling Prophecy of the Great Harvest given by Our LORD JESUS CHRIST on Mathew 13: 36-43
They are 2 separate and distinct groups. 144 000 is a literal number of people. The bride is the New Jerusalem.

I believe I am one of the 144,000 representing my demographic, I was a virgin till 33, and also Gay. I did not choose to be Gay, by my own Actions will I condemn myself. Its amazing and shocking, that feeling when he confirms you. God Comfirmed us, to help guide in the right direction. I can see things entirely.

I don't believe gay people are condemned. That last law was love Agapé. Real Truth! Many are persecuted.
Once again we need to understand numerology as it pertains to the Bible. When Revelation uses the number 144,000 multiple times that means it is literal, not symbolic. God like to work in certain numbers (3,7,10,12, etc). 7 literal days of creation. That is where we get our understanding of a week. 12 can be looked at with the twelve tribes of Israel, and the 12 disciples. Those are literal numbers. So is 144,000 and 1,000. They are literal numbers in Revelation. It is not literal when used in the phrase "God owns the cattle on a thousand hills." That is a figure of speech. So understanding how to rightly divide the word of God is important.
So what about the 144,000 Messianic Jews who play a role in the first 3.5 years of the 7 year Tribulation? This is a group of Jewish men who are virgins, that get saved because of the rapture. They come to Christ some time shortly after the event occurs before the Tribulation. Why does God do this? Because he has just removed almost a billion people from the earth who know his message. That leaves 7 billion people who don't know the gospel. God still wants them to repent and be saved, even during the Tribulation. Why does he save 144,000 Jewish men? Because his original plan of salvation was supposed to be carried to all the world by the Jewish people. That didn't happen because they rejected the Messiah. But God's plan of salvation will not be stopped. So he will raise up 144,000 Jewish men to take the gospel to every nation during the Tribulation.
The reason they are sealed is so that they are protected from God's wrath during the first half of the Tribulation. They will not be harmed by the seals or trumpet judgments. However, they are not protected from the wrath of Satan and the Anti-Christ as we see later in Revelation. The fruit that will come out of the Tribulation is unbelievable. The 144,000 are responsible for the multitude of souls in heaven that cannot be counted. More people will be saved during the Tribulation as a result of their work than at any time in history.
Think about it, you see all types of people in our country starting to ask whether we are living in the end times today. Those that get caught by surprise and miss the rapture will want to know what the Bible says finally. Who will be there to teach them? Not us, we will all be gone. So the 144,000 are going to convert millions of people that come across their path. Those who are hungry for the truth will be ready to receive the message. And that is why John sees the "souls" under the altar. Why does he say that? Because everyone else around him has bodies. 1 Cor 15:52 already took place when 1 Thess 4:16-17 happened. So the souls in heaven don't get their glorified bodies until chapter 20 in Revelation, when we all return. That is why they are kept under the altar and not free to move about in heaven like the rest of us during that 7 year period. Unfortunately the 144,000, like their converts, get martyred for the name of the Lord by the Anti-Christ and his network of agents.
"Who Are The 144,000 In The Book Of Revelation?"
The book of Revelation has many mystery's; thus...many debates and arguments have ensued, as a result. So Sad. But that is the way satan wants it. Worse: The book of Rev, is not the only book that causes untold debates and arguments. Thus, we have many different "churches, denominations and dogmas, etc"; all over the world. Again, So Sad. I am sure Jesus does NOT condone this satan-led, Godless, debauchery. Thus...
...having been a "Born Again" Christian for 83 yrs (89 now); the question about the "144,000" bugged me; and any answer I got; just didn't seem plausible to me. But this all changed when I finally got on my knees (age 75); and prayed my heart out; that Jesus would give me wisdom, understanding and the truth. Within weeks I began to see things I had never thought about. Etc.
That was 14 yrs ago; and I will give my take on this mysterious "question". I believe they are chosen by Jesus; BEFORE the "Great Tribulation" begins. They are ALL men. And Jesus gives them ONE goal. That is to preach the TRUE Gospel "message"; up an to, the last person that will have become Born Again, on this planet.
(Note: when a person sincerely "believes IN Jesus"; and worships ONLY Him as their "God Almighty"; and the Holy Spirit gives them a 2nd birth ["spiritual"]; they become a part of Jesus' Kingdom forever. AMEN!)
When the "Goal" is fulfilled (3 and 1/2 yrs into the GT), the 144,000 will be killed. But ONLY for 3 and 1/2 days. Then they will be resurrected by Jesus. AND that will bring about, the "Calling Up" ("Rapture"); of EVERY (dead and alive) Born Again persons, since creation; and they will meet Jesus in the sky. Then He will take us to the Old Heaven. NOT the New Heaven. That comes about later. So...
...This is my take. Could I be wrong? ABSOLUTELY Yes!, But all others could be wrong too!
In any case, Please Pray and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always. AMEN!
The 144k will be the leaders of the great multitude (Israelites), they have went thru great tribulations scattered by the trans atlantic slave trade
The 144,000 are the saints. These are those who will rule and reign with Christ in the coming kingdom on earth, and while alive during the first six days of history week, had not defiled themselves with the religions of men. This number represents a sliver of all believers, who have been removed from the apostasy. All other believers are apostate, believing things like Saturday is now Sunday, Jesus is God, people go to heaven or hell when they die, etc. When things don't play out the way they had been told by the religions of men, they will all end up cursing God when hit by the plagues. They will be individually judged and destroyed after the 7 millenniums are complete.
It's true that Jesus is God, God the Son, God in the flesh. And it's also true that after death, the good souls (those who love the Holy Trinity & have made their garments white and cleansed from sin) go to heaven while the wicked souls (those who hate the Holy Trinity & still living in darkness, unrepentant of their sins) go to hell...

I don't agree with this. The 144k are jewish virgins who received the seal of God on their foreheads. They are ONLY listed from the 12 tribes of Israel. We see this in Revelation 7:4-8 and Revelation 14:4. The great multitude are a collection of people from all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues. Tribes refer to children of Israel. Nations refer to gentiles. Two different groups.

Silver Girl I completely lost him, I don’t even know now if I can watch his video anymore knowing this was as simple and literal number and tribes and their qualifications in great detail. I think he is mistaken on this one. I am really having an issue with people making metaphorical references when it’s not to suitable to their theories. It’s so confusing to me. There are things that are metaphorical this ain’t one of them. So not sure I should trust him on this, in fact I won’t unless I am convinced by Holy Spirit.
The 144k are sealed before the wrath of great trib while the innumerable Multitude are seen already in Heaven giving praise. How are they the same group? 144k are later said to be redeemed from the earth in Rev 14:3. You state the 144k are symbolic of the great multitude yet the multitude are kept out from this period of great trib while the 144k are sealed on account of having to go through it, that is inconsistent.

Mr Hanegraaff, your interpretation here is nonsense because you ignore two huge clear factors in Revelation 7:
1. The 144,000 are Jews, and the "great myltitude" are Gentiles. It says so right there. Yes, both groups are saved, but are NOT the same group.
The 144,000 are obviously Jewish converts ("the servants of our God") during the tribulation, who evangelize. The multitudes are Gentiles who are killed for their faith by Antichrist. Ie, tribulation saints. None of this has anything to do with the church (which is the bride of Christ) as the church is removed long before the Tribulation happens.
*Gentiles don't even know that they have been deceived regarding the true identity of the chosen people. This host is no different and will learn the meaning of Jeremiah 16:19.*

The 144,000 is written in Rev 7:4 and are of the 12 tribes of Israel (12,000 from each of Jacob's 12 sons). The 144,000 are the Elect who fight antichrist in the end time, as God always keeps a remnant in every generation to serve Him. Before Christ returns on the Lord's Day, these Elect will know that satan (the antichrist) is just pretending to be Christ and that satan is the false Christ. The Elect will witness against satan. The reason why there will be multitudes of people in white robes praising God after the Lord's Day (Rev 7:9) is because there will be that many people who have overcome the evil of this world (especially satan) and who will be in heaven for an eternity. These are righteous people (those in a state of grace with God when they died) who were born in flesh bodies throughout this Second Earth Age. Therefore, the 144,000 refer to the Elect in the end time, and the multitude refers to all of mankind that lived/died throughout history and who have made it into heaven.
144000 are what the book of Revelation in Revelation 12 and 14 qualifies them to be like the first fruits to God. The first ones to reach a level in God that they are chosen first to be the manifested and have the marriage supper of the Lamb. It came out of the church from the bride of Christ. But it's not the bride because she goes into the wilderness. and out of the church is coming Martyrs without number and then plenty of overcomers that are in the wilderness hidden away from the face of the serpent. The 144,000 will remain to help the overcoming saints survive the 7 year tribulation until Jesus returns. That's the only way they can survive is being in God so much their nakedness shows not. Times are worse than any other time in history. so much so that it talks about in Revelation that he will destroy them that destroyed the Earth. He sees his time is short.
144,000 are anointed faithful Jehovah's Witnesses who will reign with Christ in heaven. The great multitude are the rest of Jehovah's Witnesses who will pass through the great tribulation into paradise earth Matthew 5:5.
