Well done on the wood cutting. It is always a process and takes time to cut it all up for splitting or burning. Thank you for the video.

that little electric wood splitter seems a bit out of proportion with the rest of your operation but if it works for you - we used a 6.5 hp 20 tonnes splitter, and that worked very well

Haha yes, we're saving up for a proper wood processor/splitter. Maybe next year! That 20 ton splitter of yours is probably heavenly to use compared to mine. Thanks for another comment, I appreciate it! ❤️

My father wore an orange hard hat over an orange hat. You never knew when a cidiot would be hunting nearby. Never take a chance in the woods. This is in upstate New York.

As a Dutchie, I think it's more of a scandinavian/northern thing. Here in the Netherlands people mostly dress in muted colors (mostly grey), in winter. During our winter stays in Sweden, outside of the cities everyone largely wore neon colored jackets. Often with lights and reflectors attached as well.
My thinking is that with the general vastness of the rural areas, exceptionally cold and dark winters, and fairly outdoors-oriented people, the focus just really shifts to safety/visibility and warmth over fashion and convenience.
