- I've had the same P-Touch H100 label maker at work for years and it has never had any issues. I also since this video have bought two more that also work just fine. My guess is maybe this batch just had a buggy firmware version.
Please see the review below for how I feel about the 2 newer PT-H100's I own.

We have one here at work, and it works perfectly. Yours is defective.
I just bought one today and works fine
Thats really good to hear! Also, I really appreciate the time you take to respond to comments. Its really nice to see a content creator interacting with his viewers on a regular basis. Keep it up!
i have the p touch H101TB and it works great i get my tapes for £4 each on ebay
I just got one and it works fine.
People should really try brothers industrial like of label printers. Currently have a used e300 that I got for cheap and it works like a champ. Carts are cheap too and you can get it at like 10 usd per 5 packs.
ENTERTAINMENT AT ITS FINEST
Wie kann ich bei dem beschriftungsgerät den schrägstrich machen . Zum Beispiel 34 35
I have the same one, been using it for a few years now for I.T. work. It works well when it has power. The one thing I noticed is that it eats through AAA batteries like the cookie monster! This may be just how I have it stored in my I.T. bag and it bumps around and may turn on all the time. Pisses me off when I go to use it and I need 6 more freaking AAA's.
TIP:
The trick is to take out two of the batteries and store them near the tape cartridge... Its a snug fit, but keeps all your batteries in one place. This will save you $$ on batteries.
Mine works really well I think you got a dude one especially for that price as they are €35 here
I bet they didn't think their product would be reviewed by timmy.
Nice video. Please what's d cassette and how many print strips can u get in a cassette?
Same problem, but my is frozen on small font size and will not change. This just started happening. Piece of junk and contacting Brother is impossible.
Hi how do you adjust the contrast on the LCD screen? Mine is not nearly as dark as yours!
I put in brand new batteries. No matter now many ways I do this, the thing doesn't come on. I'm taking it back tomorrow.
Hi. Can I use M family tape?
I literally laughed through the whole last half of this video
Great video, but not such a great performance on the part of the product, haha.
Mine never would power on. It was a gift so I just trashed it. I agree, don't waste your $.
I was gonna buy one. Not after seeing this video. Thanks for saving me $10+
Something perfect for Doctor Sheldon Lee Cooper!
I'v just got one of these and it's fine so far, I would take it back and get another....
i have no problems with mine!
Too late! I bought one yesterday @ Staples for $9.99... Trying to find a video for how to use it. Umm ...thanks?!
***** My second one works fine. Just look at the manual its pretty simple.
I knew Brother was a value-oriented brand, but I didn't realize they were pushing out this kind of trash. Sheesh, hopefully that was just an anomalie.
Wish I had seen this before I bought one, piece of shite!
I'm late to the party I know, but I wanted to add that I have a Brother P-Touch too (mine's the 1000 and cost a shocking £25/$34!!). It's terrible to use with a non-intuitive interface that seems designed to make the user expend as much tape as possible - and those tapes ain't cheap. It's not a heap of garbage because it does work, but is a pain to use and unnecessarily complicated to programme.
I buy my tape from eBay , much cheaper, I also had no instructions...
nothing to say :D
Same
You moved awfully quick from 10 bucks is a good deal to it's a POS don't buy it "I guess". Do you really believe that that's an honest, Fair and comprehensive review of this machine? Let's consider the fact that while opening the box you misrepresented every piece of literature that came out of it. Never did display the operation manual which would have circumvented most of the issues you were having during startup and trial run. I don't mean to sound like a huge a hole here however, is there a place on this site that allows reviews of the reviewers?
I mean it does say unboxing and not review... right?
😂@@TimmyTechTV
