When you live on the border of two different time zones, the “set automatically“ under date and time needs to be turned off, otherwise the time keeps changing on the cell phone and you never know if the cell phone has the correct time. The cell towers are pretty equally spaced here, and when I mentioned the problem I am having with the time, Verizon said to turn that setting off and set the time to Pacific standard time and it will stay there permanently. This is so much easier, and nothing has broken on my phone. Before, when the time kept switching back-and-forth on my phone, I would often have to get in my car and drive to another location in town to have the phone be able to tie into a cell tower with the correct time and then the time on my phone would change. What a hassle that was!

When I try to delete these RUclips videos, there's so many I'd like to block delete, but cannot! I have to individually delete each one, very time consuming. Also I cannot organize Gmail into categories. I was able to do this in a former Outlook account and it was great. Please advise. Thank you.

I am using my very first Smart Phone. Your videos are very helpful to this newby. Thank you so much. A friend gave me his I-Phone SE 2020 when he upgraded. I love it because it is small and I am petite and have small hands. So this phone is perfect for me. I am trying to learn as much as possible. I very recently downloaded and updated my IOS. I can't see where it is listed now, but it was a version with .1 at the end, and now it doesn't show up because I have another version waiting to download and install (15.5). The .1 that I recently installed really affected my battery life negatively in that it goes down faster. I didn't have this problem before I upgraded. I've since read a lot of comments from others that say it made their battery life worse rather than better, even on new phones. That upgrade was touted as improving battery life, among other fixes. I have turned off the apps you recommended and only refresh them on Wi-Fi, which is what I use the most. Should I download and install 15.5, or maybe try to return to the version I had before the .1 upgrade, or is that even possible? Thank you.

Just a suggestion, but I use the “pause” button frequently on RUclips so I can follow along and do what they instruct to do. Furthermore, there’s many videos where other instructors talk a mile a minute, so using the video speed option on RUclips is very useful. I love short, concise videos, too many RUclips posters take a half a day to give a five minute message.
Agree the instructions on that feature were contradictory (and yes I got pause and replayed, one minute you say never turn it off then you say turn it off)
I’m not sure what you are telling me on Prevent Cross-Site Tracking. Should I leave it turned on or stop it/turn it off? 68 yo grandma asking this question. Thx! 🥰🥰

You go too fast to find the places in the settings - and I did tech support for Apple for FIVE YEARS! Give people time in the gargantuan amount of setting topics that won’t always be in the same order. I had to pause the video and sometimes back it up yo keep up. If this is truly a helping video, remember your target audience doesn’t know this as well as you do. My last phone was an iPhone 7. I couldn’t afford to upgrade until now. If you want those million followers, remember they don’t have all this in their head like you do.

I love you guys so much but one thing you mentionned in the video is a little contradictory, when you turn off "setting time zone" in "location services", you can't set the time zone automatically (in date & time) (it just keeps loading since setting time zone is turned off in location services), so I suggest leaving "setting time zone" on in "location services" so that the time zone can be set automatically.
Well yes I thought the same Thing but...it “prevents” tracking so you want it on, green, otherwise it isn’t preventing (stopping) the tracking meaning they are actually tracking 😃

Cross site tracking? My setting was on as it said prevent cross site tracking, but you guys said turn it off!!! Why? Please answer my question for me.

…”never turn off”… means “it should never be off”… also means “it should always be on”
