Who was fishing? I just saw a rod and reel fishing in 490’ of water. Now if I saw an old school rock cod set up with a rail plate and coffee grinder handle then I would say you are fishing 😂! Nice reds👍
What is the line capacity on this reel? How much of 30# braided line can the reel hold? Which brand of battery did you use and what is its rating? Thank you.
That's kind of an oversight on the manufacturer's part. it's nice to see that it lasted so long. we will be fishing from 350 feet to 460 feet. So I am hoping it lasts. Thank you for your response
Thanks for the video but I missed the info on line test that you used. Can you share?

I use the battery that they sold with the reel and it held 550yd of the 50lb braid
What kind of braid line you use to hold that 550 yard of 50lb braid I thought I only can hold 545 yd of 40lbs from read the capacity of the manual
@@girbaudson84 using the dr fish braid. The 50lb has the same diameter as the 40lb power pro
@@flipflopnsocks thank you I’m thinking about ordering this reel would be my first electric reel
@@flipflopnsocks you have pics or website you got your braid line from
Maximum weight it can pull up? Thanks you
I don’t know the max but had no trouble dropping a 3lb ball and come up with 2 reds at 8lb each
Can you give an honest update if the reel is still working or any issues you have
Reel is still working. Been through about 100 trips already and no issue yet.
@@flipflopnsocks wow. Thanks for the feedback 👍
How's the reel?
The reel is sweet. Works well. Great for 300 plus ft. Use all day and plenty of battery left. At least 3/4 left.
what rod are you using? thanks

Do you have to take battery off to turn power off? It says nothing in the manual. How long did the battery last?
Yes you do. I used the reel for about 3 hr straight and still had 80% life
