Soviets relied on americans who were woefully behind to the point of either rechambering submachineguns in lmg rounds and having to glue multiple brownings together to have more effect than a singular one. The soviets probably dont make it very far unless the US managed anti grav tech unlike in the actual game.

IIRC he made 8 speeches in The New Order. Four in the final level (taunting Blazkowicz in English), one in the lobby of the lunar base, one in the London Nautica, one in Eisenwald Prison (taunting the prisoners in English). The final speech is easy to miss--- you must enter Deathshead's compound in the first level by blowing up the main entrance doors with dynamite instead of taking the side route (by detonating the fallen bombs in the supply room). After entering through the main entrance, do NOT rush forward as the alarm will be triggered. Deathshead's speech encouraging the German troops defending his base will be made via the PA system if and only if you keep still for a few moments.
Here's to hoping we get to conquer ("liberate" is too kind a word for its disgusting and ungodly populace) the heart of Nazism in a true The New Colossus sequel (bonus if it ends up becoming the grand finale to MachineGames' aspiring trilogy and also deems Youngblood non-canon due to Multiversal hijinks). Until that happens, I'm content with ending things in TNO and The Old Blood. Ambiguous and sad, yes, but fitting and gives a lot of hope for a new group of heroes after Blazkowicz's heroic sacrifice.
I need a source for this. EDIT: Yeah looked it up myself, you failed to account for the fact he did it with a machine gun, and it was on Omaha beach. No offense but it’s not that hard to kill 1800 people when you’re in a bunker with a machine gun and they have to charge right at you.

Unless you mean to tell me Severloh was standing out in the open carrying the MG42. And I assume by cannons, you’re referring to the tanks that rolled off the landing craft onto the beach, but truth be told, those tanks did not get far, most of them being stopped by tank barricades as soon as they rolled out. You are right about the endless masses of soldiers, though, but those were mostly infantry armed with M1 Garands and other standard assault arms of the sort, nothing like the so-called “Wonder Weapons” of the German Reich. And, something else I found out recently, Severloh’s claim has absolutely no evidence to back it up, besides the fact he was a machine gunner. It’s possible he completely made it up.
