- all 3 of these lipsticks are by lisa eldridge makeup (purchased myself) and the formula is really beautiful - lightweight and extremely pigmented. i have a neutral undertone to my skin btw!

If you notice the color of the rest of her face when wearing the three different shades, the neutral brings out the rosiness in her cheeks while not bringing out the yellow of her skin too much. For the cool tone, her face looked paler giving off a stark look, and the warm tone brought the warmth from her hair giving her a muted glow from within. To me a person’s undertone or “perfect color” is what brings most harmony to the color palette you have. It doesn’t necessarily dictate what looks best on someone or what someone prefers.
Personally I also agree that the stark contrast of her skin looking paler against the red looks the best. Gives winter show white vibes, which are my fav!

her neutral skin tone is the reason she pulls off all 3 red tones. she has all of those tones in her skin. the neutral looks the best on her.
Just adding to this for anyone who sees, that's not to say you can't wear a color that doesn't suit your undertone, wear whatever but knowing this stuff can also help keep you from looking washed out in a certain color. Know the rules before you break them, as they say.

I’m a professional make up artist and the way all of this lipsticks suit you is just sublime I love them all! I would actually think that you had a cool undertone but the way that warm orange red complements you and your eyes it’s just perfection!
and this is what is wrong with the make up industry since MAC hit the scene. Professional s are taught wrong about make up. All of them do not suit her. She does have a cool undertone. She is a cool season. Her eye shadow and blush are warm and are wrong for her. Her eyes are 100 percent cool. No warm in them at all. He skin tone is cool. No warm in it. She is wearing the wrong make up for her season if she wears warm. If she wore cool tones everywhere she would even look 5 years younger then she does in the warm tone.
chill Jen, damn. How about you tell us how to find out what undertone we are then? Because I think I’m a cool but a professional said I have green veins therefore am warm. Just saying her make up is warm and her skin is cool means nothing to me. What do those mean/how does one tell?

And what color are her beautiful eyes! That’s right blue! How dare I say all of this lipsticks complement her?, it’s because Makeup as much as it can compliment someone, it’s also about feeling and conveying emotion. So if she want to look like a classical, romantic beauty go for the cool tone. If she wants to look more modern and high contrast go for the orange, what I often thinks it’s wrong with makeup it’s people telling other people that they cannot wear a certain color! when most of the time they love that color! It’s not that deep! Have fun! Let people live their lifes! ❤
