XDM is start to not working anymore. .ts file and video from fembed or any other embedded videos are not downloadable anymore. and no more update from developer. is there any other way to download embedded videos in linux?
Thanks for this tutorial. Why isn't XDM hosted on the standard Linux repositories? We shoud be installing from repositories rather than searching for and downloading archives or binaries like we're on Windows.
That because the dev doesn't want to make and maintain build file for different distributions. It's very easy to just ship the app with an executable.

Are you using the dash to dock extension for that dock, or one of the dock programs? Cause I know floating dock extension (the one you showed us before in your videos) isn't updated for gnome 40 yet
It's floating dock, you can ping the developer to resolve the issue with Gnome 40.
Well I saw on the github that the dev has gnome 40 on his to do, you are not on gnome 40 then. Cause I was wondering what dock is that, how he has floating dock working on gnome 40 but I understand now, I guess I'll just wait for the dev, the dash to dock extension that works, not exactly what I want

It works flawlessly, however you can directly contact the dev ask him for updates.
No, it is not better than IDM. In theory it can capture m3u8 files and in practice it doesn't work.
This is the best open source download manager which is super and awesome

XDM is no where near as feature rich as IDM. There is no alternative on linux, nothing is as good.
