Don’t believe all the serial killer theories about this song. This song was actually inspired by Frances Evelyn Greville (the countess of Warwick), who went by the name of “Daisy.” She had a love for cycling, which was considered unusual for both women and members of the aristocracy.

At the same time, some dude said the word "bicycle built for two" inspired the writer to create the lyrics of the song
The composer was going from England to America and charged an import fee for his bicycle, and his friend said 'it's lucky it's not a bicycle built for two,or you'd be charged double,and here we are!

@@adler_dot That's pretty much the answer, people on tiktok took the version that was sung by the IBM 704, which when you look at the true meaning behind it was a technological milestone for its time, and people on tiktok decided to take it out of context and use it as creepy music. Its kind of sad really because the computer singing is actually pretty cool.

I think the fact these kind of songs have been used in so many horror movies have given them a "creep" factor to a lot of people.
I loved this song when I was a baby!
This gave me cinderella vibes + Nostalgic vibes + Scary vibes... It gave me an uneasy, weird, and yet happy and wholesome feeling, it just tingles my spine.
