  • As the first coupe SUV in the Volvo lineup, the new 2022 #C40Recharge is an attractively styled new entry into the long range luxury EV space. #Volvo has pledged to go completely electric by 2030, and the #VolvoC40Recharge is the second electric only vehicle in the lineup. With up to 226 miles of range and over 400 HP, it’s a spunky little crossover that also happens to look really sleek.

I just rented one of these for a few days, and I was blown away. Also LOVED the interior and the seats. A+ to Volvo for the fake suede - very comfy and doesn’t burn your behind when it’s been sitting in the hot summer sun all day.

My 2023 Volvo C40 has been causing me trouble lately. When I'm driving at 65 mph, the steering wheel vibrates very badly, making it quite annoying to drive, not sure if the steering wheel vibration cost the accident or not. Unfortunately, the dealership informed me that they cannot do anything about it. If you're considering purchasing a Volvo C40, I advise you to be careful and aware of this issue.
Additionally, I've been experiencing frequent failures in the data signal almost every week. To restore the signal, I have to manually turn the SIM data off and on again, which is quite inconvenient.

Apple Carplay has arrived but it's a wired Apple Carplay, not wireless. Offroad works when the car is under 35 mph. It distributes power to all 4 wheels and works for gravel and uneven surface road. Volvo also recommends using one pedal driving with local streets and turning it off when on the highway to increase range.

You may want to update this video since there is Apple CarPlay since July. And I would not call the door thunk as tinny. 238 miles out when EPA is 226 is good. Other reviewers have tested the range at 70MPH to be around 221 miles. MotorWeek got 250 miles in their normal range test.

This was made or released 3 days ago. I just spent all day long looking for EVs. I can tell you that this car was one of the cheapest cars off the lot. They wanted 80k for the mustang Mach E GT with the same features. The Ioniq 5 sel was just a tad bit more expensive. The id.4 was in between the two. So off lot, this car was the least expensive. I’m so grateful to the long distance dealer who sold me this car without trying to price gouge me like the other dealers. And is he sure apple play isn’t available. I drove a xc40 at one dealer, and it had apple play?
