from the flight deck: this is Paul mc Beth, your pilot speaking, there will be a delay to our landing time, we are experiencing a little too much turn, so we have increased our altitude. we are expecting to land right next to the basket so please enjoy the rest of the flight and we will move you on to the next hole as soon as possible.
Imagine being on that card, already 7 strokes back, you come to the course all fired up hoping somehow to catch up to Paul and on hole 1 he does THIS. "I'll see myself out" was probably the thought going through everyones mind right there. :D
Yea, I had to replay this a few times in the original vid to wrap my brain around it. Totally unreal McBeast drive and thank-you JoMez for highlighting it with its own video.
When I first saw this shot on the KCWO coverage, I thought "Oh man, he turned that thing over." Then I waited and watched the disc fade back in, parked! My jaw was on the floor. Amazing shot Paul!

I play that course frequently. I’ve always wondered how in the world could anybody birdie this hole. Leave it to Paul mcbeth to show me how it’s done...
I have watched a lot of sports and I might be exaggerating now but this shot is one of the most skillful plays I have ever seen in any sport.. I mean ever. Because it is quite rare that you watch “jaw-dropping” stuff like this and I would say it’s even more rare that the play is 100% intended and (to me) there is actually not much luck involved here.. it’s just skill at a different level and a pure joy to watch.
Oooo I like the jungle/DnB snippets you mixed into your music there. 👌Whoever produces the music for Jomez has always been on point. Their coverage is always such a joy to watch 💯🙌👍🏻
Pretty damn special indeed coming from pdga#6812. I remember when people hadn't even thrown that far, let alone parking the hole, on the final day, without the wind... He's one of if not the best there has ever been so far. Sorry Champ but he's better than KC.

@@EDECO79 really? I would have figured that he threw something beefier, that much power and on a Anhyzer angle, I would have thought a Kong would just keep flying right and never hook up.

In 2016, Paul had a drop in eagle on Harry Myers 1.0 hole 3 (designed as hole 2) in the Nick Hyde Memorial... over huge trees and 579 feet. Basically the same flight pattern. He's amazing. Once it was known that Paul was at the course and healthy I doubt any of those players thought they could win regardless of that first drive.
What a great line by Mcbeast with the Kong, and The Riz! I'll see myself out. Hahaha
The true competitors: "2nd place is mine!"
Excellent camera work for that ridiculous follow flight!
Gotta be a top 10 follow flight
This was the prettiest shot of the tournament coverage imo. Glad to see it got special attention! PMcB is such a tank.

I played Toboggan a few times last year, so I definitely know that feeling.
Right, why didn't you think of that? Just throw a turnover flex shot 555 ft over a bunch of 50 ft trees. So simple.
@@NativeSonDC My attempt at a flex shot would hit the first 2 trees about 3/4 of the way up leaving me a 400ft upshot for birdie.

Much more pleasing than watching ball golf in my opinion!
How and why?
Weird my Kong has never done anything like this
That's crazy such an amazing shot.
Unreal, the craziest part is him trusting that line and knowing exactly how his disc will fly, there's no way he just winged that
He knew he had it out of his hand too. That backwards swagger walk said it all.
Can't wait to see more McBeth Kong shots like this one at Ledgestone. Lots of room to trust and show off a disc out at Eureka.
