My sister-in-law is from South Korea & she is now in Manila, shopping in a Condo with my brother. She loves me cooking dinakdakan, bopis, sisig, kare-kare, pinapaitan & kakanin. Her family is rich in Korea, but she is, like Jang, not very picky about food. I missed her a lot. Hahaha! 🤣😂

The yellow thing that you don't like in Halo-Halo is Langka (in Tagalog) or Jackfruit (in English). It has a unique scent and taste, you should try it again next time and see if you'll like it.

Leche flan is not that expensive...made of egg,milk and sugar as the main ingredient.Pinangat is made from taro leaves ,coconut milk and spices like ginger , garlic and onion.its a healthy food.Philippines is a diverse country.Every island has a unique food,festival,people and rich in culture.Have fun exploring our culture.I used to teach Korean students from 2004-2011 in Manila.I love teaching them because they are eager to learn ...Much love from Philippines.

there are a lot of different types of longganissa. usually it is sweet longganissa but i like garlic longganissa or lukban longganisa which is salty.
