I highly appreciate these awesome exercises from a great knowledgeable, dedicated and extremely professional medical physiotherapist Margrate Martin. I can't thank you enough.
Miss Margaret I would love a video about what would be the best mattress someone can buy for osteoarthritis because it is very confusing what is out there. My husband and I are seniors and bought a new mattress set not quite 2 years ago which already has pretty deep indentations in both sides which started happening pretty soon after we purchased the set even with us turning it every 3 months like suggested by the mattress company, it is so frustrating. It is not a soft mattress, it is sort of medium to firm and we had spend a lot of money on this mattress set thinking that we made a great purchase, but unfortunately all the new mattresses are the no flip kind and they are all bad in my opinion but still very pricy. All of us spend a good amount of time in bed sleeping and not having a good mattress to lay on is very uncomfortable and frustrating to say the least because your sleep is not good. This is just a thought and I thank you for all the good work you are doing!
Margaret. I have Ddd & hip Displasia … This Video has strengthened my legs so thank u so much for all ur good work on here But the last excersise ‘ loads ‘ my back giving me a heaviness in my back I’ve preserved for months now but today I’ve decided my backs never going to b in a pain free unless I stop doing that last excersise . I’m in my 60 s too … Please do u surgest any thing else ? Many thanks Xxx
I think Margaret says that lying on the stomach may be too uncomfortable for some people? I think the exercises she showed, on your stomach, can probably be done standing up--where you can control your back's posture better. That works better for me. If an exercise can easily be done standing up ("weight-bearing") this will also encourage better bone health in your pelvis and hips.
This might help me recover from my knee injury back i may. My hips and things has also become very tight. I’ve struggeled with a water cyst on the backside of my knee for some time. The doctor said they’ll not drain it. It’ll have to recover itself. More than 4 months had passed, and I notice some issues with flexibility/mobility as a result of that. If you have some advice regarding those issues, It would be most appreciated. ☺️
This comprehensive video demonstrates both strengthening and stretching exercises you can do in lying to reduce knee pain.
