Another heartwarming story about how an interstellar civilization saves some space age primitives from destroying themselves! The Belbos are obviously the heroes of the story! 😉
Not going to lie, the moment the Alpine primitives went into a global war during the atomic age, and I had 4 unoccupied Alpine worlds, I was STRONGLY tempted to immediately "liberate" them and colonize those four planets. Opted out and then a few days later signed a migration treaty with Lithoids; I don't know what mod I use that does it, but giving lithoids +50% habitability is way too fucking strong.

One time I was playing as a tundra world race and there was a jungle world race with a wonderful combination of traits not too far from my home world. I puttered around for a while, then decided to get serious and build some armies, and halfway through building my armies, they blew themselves up so badly that they didn’t convert their planet into a tomb world, but instead into a toxic world, so not only did they die out, their planet was useless too. Once I completed my armies, I ended up conquering another jungle world race nearby my home world, but compared to the bunch who wiped themselves out, they kind of sucked, honestly.
@@EyeOfMagnus4E201 I wish there was a middle ground between enlightenment and covert intrusion whereby you simply make yourself known to them and get them to come to the peace talks. I like to RP as egalitarian so it's rather annoying to have to invade egalitarian worlds, btw that's what the Alpine race was, just to save them. I also wish there was an alternative to Enlightenment where you propose to add them to your nation instead of giving them one of your systems; especially since said Alpine race was one of two habitable planets in that system and the other was already over 15 pops.

Instead of bringing them into the stars as a seperate political entity who can throw a hissy fit and join your neighbours Vassal collection instead of you, their protectors and watchers. Maybe there should be an option to hold a system-wide vote if you’re feel egalitarian or simply an option to absorb them whether they like it or not if you’re feeling more authoritarian that day. Of course, you should still have the option of letting them become independent, especially if they’re the only planet in the system.

after reflection how whould you guys react if something like this happened to earth ( alien occupation) would you fight or stay docile. Personally I would have joined the AAF since I can see myself not taking to aliens just occupying earth only to subjugate into their empire

could be a fleet created specifically for the Parent Protocol. since nations without space travel would more than likely have missile weapons.
