Sept 30, 2020 and I just stumbled on your channel yesterday. I have squirrels, chipmunks and birds that I love watching, but watching how elaborate your contraptions for your backyard critters grow into each video has me laughing out loud all by myself. I have not been this entertained in ages and as a senior woman, I am binging all your videos now. Not in any particular order, but one of my faves is the purple bunny basket. I think I watched that one 5 times. Thank you for sharing your yard and visitors with us. The toys and the obstacles just enthrall me. What fun you must have had conjuring up all these amusements for your hungry visitors.
Lol oh man I love these guys. The mirror attacker seemed mighty offended that his adversary wasn't nearly as fearful as he should have been lol. I love when they run in circles around stuff, it's like the one in front is definitely having a laugh at the chaser. Thanks again for taking the time to film/edit/post, it sure makes my evening.

1:36 - 1:41 - I showed that section to my dog in an attempt to explain why she should give up trying to catch squirrels. I think she's still in denial. LOL
Liked the one sitting on top just ignoring the drama below. Then the one who kept turning his back to the mirror, If i cant see him maybe he will go away. lol
LOLOL - They are!!! I've done this three or four times now with the mirrors. Every time seems different. I had yet to see one react the way the one who kept smacking the mirror over and over. : ))
Fascinating in terms of how squirrels and humans come to recognize the mirror image. Great video. I only wish the most important scene, the last one during which the squirrel engages at length with the image, had been shot from a different angle so that we could see what was going on.

Hey backyard files curious what your neighbors think of the squirrels I have a lot in my yard and my neighbor pickedup an airsoft gun and started shooting them it doesn't kill them but I'm sure it hurts
Hi Brent, mine about the same. I heard them say they poison them, shoot them, and trap them. Despite all that, they must not do too good of a job : ) The same ones come around. The worse is right behind us. She would pay for someone to climb her tree and take out a squirrel nest. : ( With babies!

Like you said, look at the wooden box feeder cha cha. It is only "sped up" after that scene. But before that scene I played it at normal as you can tell the feeder is blowing normal, then slowed it down to watch again, and the feeder slowed down. Just to clarify : ) But thank you for watching!
