What a fabulous model railroad. You can clearly see you are a student of Howard Zane. Everything the engines weathering rolling stock and locos are all superb. Just fantastic. Cant wait to feature your O scale version of this masterpiece.
Thanks buddy. I had a lot of fun with it and learned a lot building it. It’s fun to go back and look at videos of it. As you know, I’m having a blast in O scale.
Me too, Greg. It was a lot of fun building and working on, and I enjoyed running it. There are times I’m actually shocked I actually pulled the trigger, tore it all down, and sold my collection, but ultimately I don’t regret it. I really enjoy O scale. I like the mass and the ability to detail even more.
@@CassidysWorkshop On30 has a lot of appeal. You can get some of the mass and detail of O scale in less space with tighter radiuses. If I had room I’d do a small On30 layout just because I’d love to model Colorado. Alas, not enough space.
Those are the newer runs with TCS WowSound. They’re diecast locomotives so they pull well too. I was impressed by it. If you ever see one available for sale, it’s a nice loco.

I do miss that layout, Ryan, it was a beauty. But you have moved onward and upward. Still, enjoy seeing this one again.

I can absolutely see the appeal of it. 👍 Were I starting a new one I think I'd go On30.

Nice layout Ryan! Glad you had this footage to share.
Thank you! Me too. I actually just kind of stumbled on it on my phone last night. I had a lot of fun with the HO layout.
The sound in the Bachman Decapod was shocking!
