Quick note about the CLEAR WORBLA: I just learned it takes a lot more heat to activate so that is why I had a harder time shaping it. I just didn't have it hot enough... so if you do get it hot enough make sure to WEAR GLOVES to project your skin. Since I didn't get it too hot, it didn't bother me but make sure to protect your fingers!

The tree house is so cute! And as always, you did a great job. I think a couple of old Halloween decorations that look like the have been there since the 70s would be fun. One of the cheesy ghosts hanging from a branch that is just an old bed sheet with marker eyes where the head has been tied off and stuffed with leaves. Or an old, falling apart scarecrows scattered around the base of the tree. These would be fun to age and make look moldy and weathered.

I did not know the Fairfield was a 70’s revival of a Victorian, lovely! I shall have to watch in its entirety. I think you will have no trouble with the cinnamon, it protects food from spoiling, so it is like a preservative. Oh, and you lashed that ladder well, yes, tying stuff down like that is often called lashing. Glamorous word!

      @@BentleyHouseMinis Hi Ara,
I also have a good plan to make 1/12th scale trees, but in limited numbers.
In the fall, when the tomato vines no longer yield, I carefully dig up the roots, clean up the soil and with the base of the stem as a trunk and the rootlets of the roots ground down a bit with scissors, you get very convincing trees.
All that's left to do is to glue on a few leaves to get some nice winter trees.
But it doesn't work every time, unlike your technique.

He said all that means is that your inhabitants must be big fans ;) I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the natural sticks morph with the fake tree bits, that would be fun to try sometime as it worked really well for you!

What a great video. You knocked it out of the park on so many levels and got so many things accomplished on your list of things to do. Plus you used your new products. Good on you. You had me going on the dog switch. 😂 Stormy got fat and bald. 😆. Thank you for sharing another wonderful video. Hugs 🤗

😄😄 Lol! I just had to do the dog switch. I figured it might explain any pug snorting that might have been heard in the background too 😊

a tip i saw someone do to not get the DAS to warp - prewet the surface you're sticking it to and it should minimize the warping also covering with moist cloth/paper towel will slow down the drying and warping is less likely. i love this tree so much!

It does look like fog! I laid it down to look like grass and thought it was going to look so weird but then it didn't look half bad and I couldn't figure out why... it's because it looks like fog lol! Thank you!
