This video has made me realise how lucky we are in Wigan to have so many pubs. Some of these on here I’ve given a wide birth too over the years, George, Dog and Partridge and Harry’s Bar.. so it’s nice to see inside. It’s made me feel home sick and I’m only 2 miles from them 😂 Great vid. Earned a subscriber
Great to see the pubs doing good business. You should do a Wigan Part 2 and have a crawl onward from the John Bull north end of the town, you missed a lot more good places to get a great pint. Ukelele, Whitesmiths, Symposium(Yellow Monkey); Royal Oak, Real Crafty, Little 15’s Swinley, Charles Dickens, Lady Mabels, Fox and Goose, Gin on the Lane, Millstone, Steve and Wendys, Bowling Green, Cherry Gardens, Forbes, Brocket, Bar 37 and Sherringtons , not counting The Boars Head which is probably too far to walk from town, should be a start off pub. Was on the original Wigan Lane Pub Crawl.
Just got this recommended in my feed glad you enjoyed yourselves, im a boulevard regular nights are always fantasic and it gets incredibly lively in the early hours of the morning
It's a pie barm. Not a 'wigan kebab.' That's what out of towners call it, no proper wiganer calls it a wigan kebab & if any wiganer does, they aren't a proper wiganer. Grinds the gears of a few people does that.
Saw your Warrington vid and it looked a okay night out with loads of pubs. However it seems you enjoyed the Wigan pubs better based on reactions of the night, I could be wrong? I wonder if it has anything to do with the friendliness of the population?
Wigan feels like so long ago I can barely remember it now mate haha... As far as I can remember, I really liked both but think Wigan slightly topped it for variety of pubs

Left Wigan in 1989. Loved the Boulavard on a Sunday night. Sunday sessions were great back then. Live in Brazil now.
Categorically not a roll its a BARM! The John Bull is a brilliant establishment - best juke box in town!
It was always a great night out back in the 90's when I used to go every week. I'm sure it still is
You wouldn't recognise it if you hadn't been back since the 90s ,it was ❤😊❤😂😂😊
Great little project. Can’t believe you didn’t know about our Wigan Pier 😉

Hahahaha... I'm only going by what it said on the chip shop window! That's what they called it
Raven, Harrys and Fifteens all owned by the same guy, Tony Callaghan.
The George used to be a bank, hence its 60s bland slab of a building

Seeing this video makes me miss the Ship Hotel.
Could you do a video where you rank the top 10 pub crawl places you’ve been + your top 10 pubs. Would be interesting

Need to go to Real Crafty
We'll do all of the others next visit mate
I agree, Real Crafty and Central are always on our list cos both are dog friendly.
These videos are great. I just struggle to hear what the guy is saying. Talks very fast! 🙈😮
