Hic... The wine was great but I prefer the micro layout more so. It has a strong industrial flavour with just a hint of steam although there is a slight bouquet of diesel!!! This little layout is absolutely outstanding. Well done.
That's great. Lots of good ideas for me. I once made a tiny railroad in an old shoe shine box (I put that one up on RUclips a while back). It's really just tiny train cars the size of a thumb nail, going in and out of a tunnel, around a tiny town, powered by a small DC motor from a rotisserie toaster oven. A silly little thing, but it got me interested in making stuff.
Jason you have a lot of skill, patience and imagination. Very well done m8. It looks amazing. I had that fish van in my first train set in 1973! Very good job on the shunter. I was trying to work out what it was. I have everything for my Melbourne Military Railway except energy and motivation. I returned to a 40 hour week job recently after being retired for 18 months.
Thanks mate, The fish van was a £3 ebay scoop. I hope your return to work doesn't curb your model making too much. I need my mancave visits after a 45 hour week to maintain my sanity lol.
Wow wow Jason what an incredible modelling mind you have, and I think the conversion from a wine box to a micro layout just shows what can be achieved in the right hands. Well done 5*
Hi Jason, what a brilliant idea! ... while watching your video I remembered there is a winebox like yours in one of my modelrailway-containers ;-). That inspires me to make a simular copy, now (planed automn). I hope you do not want a copy-fee? ;-) Regards Helge
Servus Jason, meanwhile, my result of the winebox project comes to be completed soon. Some little details have to be done still. My project is executed as in 009 / H0e - If you are interesstedin I´ll send you an example of my work gladly. From Bavaria best regards Helge ;-)

Thank you, The link wouldn't copy but please scroll down to my reply to another comment as I copied the description. Check out the video on Budget Model Railways channel, they use the same kit in their printed controller box, it's very informative
This looks wonderful. I love the N gauge ones but it is nice to see some of the more intricate detail even if it does make for a smaller scene. Does the fiddle yard pack away inside the box when it's not in use, or would you have to store that separately?
@@jasonpierce-newmodelbarmy3394 What kind of power pack is that ? What Voltage ? And how much current ? And how do you protect it against short curcuit ???
At 78, I thought I'd seen all the clever, ever. But this is ULTRA. You win my vote for CLEVER for EVER award. Thanks for sharing !!!
Thank you, you’re very kind.
Nice job dad 👍
A perfect example of out the box thinking..... inside a box.
Absolute genius mate.
Nice micro, nice work, thanks for sharing.
Fantastic. Beats some large layouts into a cocked hat. Well done.
a great idea, well executed, truned out great, 👍👌😊 greetings from Germany, Kai
Ingenious👏. Thinking outside the box there 😉
What a nest of brilliant ideas to borrow!! Thanks for sharing and regards from Spain! Be well
You have inspired me. I have a few of these type of boxes. Will give it a go.

That’s so beautiful.
Excellent job! Another winner, Jason. Now I'll have to watch my boss's bin for the next wine delivery he gets!
Work of art ,you can have room for a model railway anywhere ,impressive 😊👍🏻
nice layout. love it.
There is thinking outside the box but this is deffinatly thinking inside A box. Wonderful little layout 👍👍
Absolutely incredible!
I bet Mr Laithwaite would buy this from you for his office. Very good, well excellent actually.
Thanks Keith. Laithwaite's have seen it and sent me a few complimentary bottles of red........they were extremely good vinos too!!
@@jasonpierce-newmodelbarmy3394 well done, you deserve it. Their wine is very good.
Excellent micro layout. The fact that you've scratch built items makes this more realistic, and I love the weathering of the loco and scenic items.
OMG Wow I Love It 👍😎 Great Job. I Stumbled Across This Why Trying Getting Inspiration For A Winery Layout. Keep Up Good Work 👍😎
That would make a superb feature in any office. Well presented and with a little more planning that could be a shunting layout.
That is brilliant. Has made my Monday!
Very nice JP 👍
Thanks mate, I'm sure you'll get to see it in the flesh once the world gets jump started again! Stay safe you guys. J

Thanks Matey. I’m sure you’ve got room for a layout in your den😉
Great work!
Excellent work, amazing what you can do in a small space
Brilliant mate! Certainly gets the 'juices ' flowing, with ideas for a creation of my own over Xmas!
Superb! An ultra micro N diorama in a wooden cigar box would be interesting.....
Go for it!
Lovely work and very inventive. I really like your videos.
Stunning skill!
Brilliant well done, I haven't the space anymore but the n guage, and now this. I will have to think again.
You are so inspiring mate-love it!!!
Brilliant use of available materials.
Love it. It oozes imagination and skill.
simply amazing what can be done with buckets of skill and imagination... well done Sir👍🏻 stay safe Neil 🤠🚂🚃

Impressive result, it was quite a challenge but you have more than succeeded! 👍 I like the remake of the Coca-Cola loco too, great job!
Wow, what an amazing layout! And so neatly built! Hats off!
What a great, well thought out little layout. Well done.
Very, very nice
Great, I love mini layouts
Like the new video .Very much.
Awesome stuff! I’m super-impressed - and wouldn’t have a clue where to start with the scratch building that you do.
Thanks Andrew.......step one, never throw anything away, it will always come in handy for a scratch build!
Very clever. It’s called ‘thinking out of the box’. 😆
That is brilliant! Thanks for uploading!
thoroughly enjoyed the camera work!
Great idea, well done👌🚂🌟
Well done!
One guy can't find a wine box.
Nice layout.
Fantastic 👍.
excellent you are as mad as my and I like it

Hi Helge, glad you liked the winebox. I'm delighted that it's inspired you to have a go at one yourself. Go for it. Regards, Jason
Thanks for your friendly comment Jason. I 'll keep you informed when it starts

Thank you. Sadly the fiddle yard won't fit inside the box but the power pack will fit inside the fiddle yard so it does condense down a little

I ask you because i'm no native english speaker, I didn´t understand what you said. :(
I lke the way you've recycled an affordable but otherwise (to me) useless locomotive.
