Folding Personal Carbine…I have one and really like it…well made, accurate, extremely reliable with every ammo tried…in fact no failures ~ 300 rounds various ammo types…
Been shooting/plinking since 1977 , talking rifles, handguns, and 3 other PCCs and this one's got to be the funnest! Seems to go great with the hot Winchester Active Duty almost like it was made for it.
Put 150 rounds through my and I love it. I also have sub2000 and I like FPC much better. Very quality made, solid. Do not like magazine release in stock. And I need to get longer magazine release. Hate bolt lock. Hopefully they will come up with extended versions
I've used a Kel-Tec sub9 as a home defense weapon for 20+ years. The Smith & Wesson FPC may very well be the sub9 replacement. I may hold off in case a 10mm version is in the works. I also wish they would issue a Glock magazine version. FPC = My memorization acronym definition would get me banned
Smith & Wesson to release version for Glock magazines? Are you serious? When did you hear something like this ever happened? FYI When S&W was making weapons, Gaston Glock wasn’t born.
Other than the way the mags release in the shoulder brace its an awesome shooter. Add a extended riser on the too picatinny rail for an opic with 3x magnifier.
@codlifecod2795 I do but it isn't near me at the moment. If memory serves me correct , I believe I tried both the pull & push motion & it only works in 1 direction.
@jamesmoore1341 but it goes both direction when your pushing down ? Pull up on the tab and pull the mag to that side. Not the opposite side like everyone is saying
I purchased one and took it to the range and it was a total failure. Prior to leaving for the range I disassembled, cleaned and oiled it. Out of the box it took me and the Jolly Green Giant to pull the charging handle back. First sign of a problem. At the range I put 50 rounds through the weapon and only 4 or 5 actually fired. The rest were ejected by me and the charging handle. I stopped and field stripped it down to discover that the bolt was not working right. The bolt comes in two sections and should only go together ONE way. However, when I field stripped it, the bolt would now go together TWO ways. Not good. I took it back to the dealer and they shipped it off to S&W and I got it back in about 3 to 4 weeks. S&W totally replaced the entire bolt....that goes together only ONE way. At the range I put a little over 100 rounds through it no problem. So if your charging handle is a bear to pull back out of the box and it misfires at the range, my money is on the bolt has failed. I have heard the same from a few guys.
Be very afraid of the man who shoots dead on POA/POI in a TIGHTER group, offhand with no stock, no 16" barrel, no optic, plain iron sights, at EVEN FURTHER distances with a handgun. You said 10 yards? How about at 15 - 20 yards........ Volume 1

Can't you just lift up on the tab instead of pushing down .?
I own both and totally agree.
How about Folding Packable Carbine ?

@@codlife95 I believe it's only a single direction mechanism.
You don't have one ?
