- Why Venom is the weakest symbiote of all the symbiotes which include Carnage, Riot, Toxin, Anti-Venom and Knull. We have figured out this with the Powers and Abilities of Venom, and then compared it to the other ones and why exactly is it scared. With Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage coming soon, we can even hope for a future Venom and Spider-Man film! But still Venom is cool and awesome.

The thing that gives Venom an advantage over other symbiotes, in spite of his weaknesses, is his humanness. He has the most human-like personality of any of the other symbiotes. He's resourceful, clever, stubborn, cooperative with his host, and most uniquely, he's humble - he doesn't have a massive ego like other symbiotes. While other symbiotes are simple with simple motivations, Venom is far more complex, and I think this is the result of his being bullied on his home planet combined with his exposure to human civilization. He's probably done nothing his entire life except plan on what to do when he's facing against someone stronger than him, because when you're a loser, you think about that stuff.

Venom is the weakest symbiote compared to the other symbiotes because venom is one of the first symbiotes that was formed. Basically, symbiotes are stronger, and better than it's predecessor. And since venom is one of the first symbiote's ever formed, he is also the weakest.

Venom unique ability it's his symbiosis, that can fuse with other symbiots and gain power boost like that , if I am not mistaken. He is the weakest usually but have the potential to become one of the strongest at least , if not the strongest when he gained Knull's God hood and become the new God of the symbiots and fought Celestials himself too .

He’s only the weakest in terms of how many powers he has. But once venom bonds with other heroes he effectively gets those powers/knowledge. Venoms bonded with every living thing and remade the universe. And with the way things are goin, we may actually get to see the king in black on the big screen. That would be beyond epic. Regardless I don’t see venom as weak at all. Just lacking in abilities his spawn has. I’m sure if he bonded with someone like The absorbing man, he would more than make up for that.
Kind of a catch 22. He’s one of the first symbiots so technically he is weaker than his offsprings and future symbiots. But his saving grace is that he has better control of himself and can think level headed. As his offspring are not as mentally stable, stronger in strength and abilities but every generation is crazier as they go down the line. This makes venom much more strategic…also another saving grace is that eddy is a strong host so venom naturally gets a power bump from that as well.
Or as venom says. " im a loser on my planet". He's weak.

@@noahyxru Although that's not where the name originally came from, considering that in this movie universe, the symbiotes have their own names (for some reason), he might have earned "Venom" for something like that.
I believe we are getting different versions of the character just as you stated at the beginning. One of the abilities that the symbiotes usually have is absorbing so to say the strengths of its wielder, that's why Venom was always stronger than Spider Man when it first left him, because it added Peter's powers to itself, and supposedly Eddie's strength (even when it really doesn't make any sense since he's just a normal human). I lack knowledge as to how long this approach to the character went on before fading away, but for the most part that's the usual reason of Venom's evolution.

Comic wise Eddie is a really buff dude. And he solo fought a few carnage infested humans alone and came out winning without the symbiote in the recent Venom comics. Literally a hand to hand combat veteran. Venom wins out against Spider-Man is simply because he can mute out his spider sense which is what gives Spider-Man such a huge lead against other super villains.
@@XenonKirito In one of the comics, Eddie lifted a ferris wheel while the venom symbiote was hit with a sound thingie. So Eddie is actually quite buff.

Technically the truth, however, venom has a very powerful ability in that he is able to allow his host to actually have multiple symbiotes, so he is actually one of the strongest because he can be added to any other symbiote.

Venom has killed carnage twice in the comic books and one of those times being in the short series, absolute carnage by cutting him in half . Venom has become the god of the symbiotes after killing knull, the former god of the symbiotes by shoving him into the sun in the king in black series. Although it was technically eddie alone. Later on as the god of the symbiotes, eddie finds out that the only symbiote in the universe he cant control the way he wants, is venom. Also during the king in black story line, venom takes silver surfers board and thors hammer, mjolnir and fuses them into one huge axe which he uses to cut off a freaking celestials head. And by the way, yes , venom, aka eddie brock is worthy.
Let me correct you Venom never killed knull it was GOL aka God of light which possed venom but Knull also once defeatad GOL which means its 1 / 1

Awesome take on Venoms uniquely complex character traits. I think you hit the nail on the head here. A super hero/anti hero that is so awesome and so good at everything has not as much interest as a character people can relate to a character that admits that he has floors. But despite those floors, push through and overcome adversity. Most folk understand what that is like. I Love what the writers and Tom Hardy did with Venom as well as the Venom Voice acting. Cannot wait till the next one is out... Cheers 😀.

he's the weakest, but he's also the most resilient to take damage, he could even stand strong when Carnage was suffering under loud sounds.

“In king in black” it’s actually Eddie who killed Knull, but Eddie was the host of “The Light”. Eddie just chose to look like venom.

Venom is the current symbiote hive mind and is shown to have better shifting by the end of king in black. This is after the enigma force leaves him.

I think there is another factor that makes Venom win combat against stronger enemies. Venom's compatibility to his host. I think some of you overlook the fact that venom is not fighting alone. He has the perfect recipe for winning, host compatibility, wits, experience and he always fight for something selfless.
Symbiotes get stronger every generation, and venom being the first symbiote ever formed, he is naturally the weakest. You don’t need any other info. That’s all.
Edit: I think venom is viably so much stronger in the venom movie than in Spider-Man’s movies. Being the villain in those movies automatically makes him extremely weak. Being the hero gives him plot armour. And also carnage is the second generation of symbiote so he’s not the strongest as you thought.

He isnt the first symbiote but he is the weakest symbiote on earth base level wise(Not currently since he is the current god of the symbiotes, but current Carnage may be stronger than him). It is canon in comics but may not be canon in the Sony Cinematic Universe, i look forward to know about how the symbiotes work in the SCU, why is Riot a leader, why is Venom a loser, why can other symbiotes create weapons but not Venom, can Venom learn new tricks and is Knull canon in that universe

Venom is the weakest because he was the first on the line. Whenever a symbiote gives birth, it has no emotional attachment because they are always stronger than their parent. That is why every other symbiote is stronger than venom

@@jjhoffy riot was not weaker. As you can see, riot had beaten venom in more strength fights, and has more abilities like making weapons out of their bare hands as venom cannot. Riot is both stronger and has more abilities. The only reason venom won was because riot was in the rocket and venom exploded it, when symbiotes are weak to fire, resulting in riot dying.
