- Hello everyone!

With the story of game having concluded with the defeat of titan Shang Tsung, and the sudden arrival of the mysterious Titan Havik… It actually occurred to me and made me wonder… just where are the other villains of the franchise currently?
Because In this new era and new dawn for the series, In a world forged by Liu kings vision, where many enemies of the past have been neutralised, what has become of them? where are their fates In the current era?
Well today we will be going through a few intros and details that have been scattered throughout the game, and talking about their where about In the new era.
Enjoy!

Geras about the amulet of Shinnok: "It should not exist. Its maker is powerless."
That to me sounds like Shinnok does exist in this timeline, he just isn't the traitor Elder God he was before. The very thing Liu Kang did with did Shang, Shao and Quan.
Or they made sure to lock shinnok away before he had a chance to make the amulet.
He exists in another reality
I like to think that he is locked up inside his amulet in the temple of the elements
@@bigbonedones7162all MK Kharacters exist in other realities
yeah he likely contained and pretty weak at the moment, the Amulet we saw was likely from the Titan Shang timeline
I really hope Onaga isn't just a dumb brute. The fact he was such a skilled necromancer, and so clever and willing to spend decades on a plot really added to his threat level. If he's not a beast to be tamed, General Shao's plans are going to go much differently than he thinks...
I just assumed his body and soul were split, the difference this time around Onaga's body is alive and on autopilot while his soul is dormant or scheming in the shadows.
Skilled necromancer.....but got defeated by an old dude in prison.
It'd be boring if onaga was exactly as he was in deception.
@@Axel_Kasaiit would be boring if onaga was just a mindless beast
My brother in Christianity, NRS has trashed this man since MK9 at every opportunity. Now they're referring to him being "tamed" like he were some creature.
I'm thinking the Amulet is actually from Titan Shang's timeline. Since he probably didn't get rid of him, the Amulet could still be around and also was given to Liu Kang's Shang while still under the guise of Damashi.
Having Shinnok on the roster with Shao along with hopefully having Onaga as a boss character would be very interesting.....
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE OTHER VILLAINS!?
I doubt Shinnok comes back. He could maybe return as a Kameo though
Shao kahn is a titan now
Next villains, Titan Havik releases Onaga from his bondage to cause chaos in Fire God Liu Kang timeline. Onaga may kill Titan Havik and absorb his powers.
We already know Shao and Reiko release Onaga. Whether Reiko actually survives his fight and tames him is another thing.
@@novelgianithat doesn't make sense when they both died in story
@@jahahua No one from the new era died except Sindel. All the ladder endings are canon, Shao escaped from prison and is gathering an army to conquer Outworld, and Shao sent Reiko to battle Onaga.
@@novelgiani that still doesn't make sense when they both died in story unless they're other variants.
@@jahahuathey didn’t die in the story
Those two were from titan shangs timeline 😂
We’re you paying attention??
One of the interactions does mention a Titan Onaga so that would be insane to see with how much more power he's gained.
That would be dope
how is that even possible though? all the diverging timelines revolve around different characters in mk11 defeating kronika
onaga was not involved whatsoever in that process
@@InitialPC Gearas himself says it to Liu Kang who says they will defeat him
@InitialPC titan havik wasn't in mk11 either and he became a titán
nrs Is just throwing the lazy multiverse BS
That's why we see Kotal Havik at the post credits in mk 1
@@InitialPCNeither was havik yet there is one apparently
In regards to Shinnok, Geras didnt say he was Neutralized, he said he was "Powerless". Ofcourse that could mean he just doesnt exist, holding no "power" or influence over anyone/anything(like Quan-Chi for example). But I'd say he got more of a Shang Tsung or Quan-Chi treatment, wasnt allowed to gain his powers and likely exists, but solely as a mortal, maybe Cetrion too. We just dont have enough information yet to truly know.
Didn't Evil Raiden still have his amulet at the end of Titan Shang's ending of MK11? I still like your theory and others of them still existing, of becoming morals and/or just living powerless life's (I haven't pulled the tower endings, only just finished the main story, so yeah this vid and comments were spoilers for me but, for Shao finding the sorcerer's tomb, maybe still Shinnok lived a boring powerless life, so he has no amulet in this timeline?)
I thought maybe while Geras was trying to find out the benefactor's identity and Shao pulling out the amulet, he says it shouldn't exist and him watching all over time in this new era since it's beginning, he would know when/if the threat ever emerged, so I thought Titan Shang brought it over from his timeline
(Though yeah, I enjoyed the game, I know maybe thinking on it more critically with the multiverse, myself and/or other fans can think of "too" many shenanigans can happen. "What if Titan Shang didn't even pull it from his timeline? How many Shinnoks and Onnagas are out there?" So yeah. I hope it doesn't get (more) overly convoluted.
I think the elder gods can only interfere if the rules of Kombat are broken. Otherwise they're bound. So Shinnok and Cetrion can't do anything unless someone breaches the realms. Like say if Onaga takes over Outworld and tries to invade Earthrealm. Only to get stopped by Shinnok who came from the heavens to stop Onaga. Making Shinnok a good guy with a short leash
Another theory I’ve seen floating around is that Cetrion might be Raidens sister in this timeline but I feel more than likely it’ll be fujin unless liu Kang gave him a different identity.
@@plissken94th57 What's the lead of Cetrion being Raiden's sister? Actually come to think of that too now, would that mean much if Raiden is mortal, so she likely would be as well, also Fujin?
Problem solved:
Just bring Shinnok from another timeline
nrs is just throwing the lazy multiverse BS at evertthing
It’s possible that Shinnok as well as Cetrion are Mortals from Earthrealm in Theory as well as that Amulet if it’s on that Universe and Liu couldn’t Destroy It, Liu might have made Onaga lost his Intelligence to avoid how Dangerous he is, Daegon is a More Tricky Subject as we Don’t Know what Argus did in this new Timeline that the Same goes to Delia, however it still Possible of Argus’ Sons, Blaze, and the Red Dragons to Exist in some Way, Shape, and Form, We just don’t know the Full Details as of Yet.
They say that Delia is a god because in one of the intros I think Tanya said she will pray to lord Delia
Liu was all about redemption in this game, a lot of these character got redeem and during MK11 he could see how Cetrion was worth redeeming, so bringing her back would follow that redemption he wants
Shinnok could have been given his original place as a Elder God, but not a ambitious one.
@@marcusclaybrook8098 Delia and Argus are the mother and father of Deagon and Taven. But it would be so amazing to see them in the new era timeline.
The amulet was given to Shao by Titan Shang Tsung from his universe.
The Multiverse arc that MK decided to go with really makes your brain hurt when you realize most of these villains could exist in other timelines
The real question is, where is Titan Kobra?
As a Rain type of guy. I’d def be down for that video 💯
If Kronika did not even exist, how could her son exist?
It’s not said he doesn’t exist . Geras says the maker of the amulet is powerless….not dead but powerless so maybe he is human
Because gods don't follow normal logic?
Shinnok exist in the current timeline of MK 1, did y’all not hear Liu tell Shao that he rendered the creator the amulet powerless. He’s not dead, just not elder god anymore.
They should have added Titan Shao Kahn in the Armageddon scene... He has conquered everything in his timeline, and now bows to conquer all other timelines... A third party against both Liu Kang and Shang Tsung. what a missed opportunity
So there is no titan shaokhan at all؟thats wierd
That would be cool to see Shao Kahn from the original timeline, possibly the Havik we see in the cutscene is the Havik from the original timeline
@@sobhanamini3776I think there is. NRS just said fuck it we already got Shao in the game 😂😂😂 instead of showing a Titan Shao and doing him justice for once
@@JoseSena-gs4tz i really wanted to see a titan version of each mk character،like titan hotaro،shujinko،jade..every one.but characters that wasn't in mk1 didn't have a titan version at all،and it seems like a character like shaokahn who was in mk1 story didn't as well،and for some odd reason theres like a million titan Quan chis lol
I'm assuming shinnok's amulet was just from shang tsung's timeline
It was.
Would be funny if Shinnok was made into something wholesome like a restaurant owner or something. Geras did state in story mode that he's powerless.
awesome job on the video man nice man very epic and nice man amazing job on the video!!
So where I think they’re going is the return of Onaga. I could be wrong, but I think that Onaga’s appearance in Reiko’s ending is not a coincidence. From what I can tell, every ending so far is canon, so it’s easy to imagine that the dlc expansion will be set a few months after the story with the everyone going through their own stuff from their respective endings.
Onaga has shown up in arcade endings since MK9, doesn't mean anything.
If anything the more they include him in arcade endings the less it means he will come back, because the more endings he shows up in the more times he gets defeated by an irrelevant fighter.
He gets defeated by Reiko ffs!
Question/idea for next video: which characters benefitted the most from MK1 (Baraka not a jobber, Melina taking the drivers seat?) and which characters look worse (Shao lost every fight, Kitana barely featured in the story?)
I'm fine with Shao being a jobber now. He's had more than enough time on top. We need a break from him for a few games.
Reptile is the best, as much as I love him, he never did anything significant in the other games, he was just cool and there. In MK1 he finally gets a seat at the table and in the best possible way.
I think Shao being nerfed makes sense story wise considering what Liu did with Shang Tsung and Quan Chi.
I originally thought Baraka or Mileena but then I realized, Havik. The original Havik was a cleric, he was a "holyman" of sorts in the ways of Chaos, he had a very interesting philosophy. The new Havik (not digging the "Dairou" twist) is basically just an edgy activist whining about oppression and tyrants.
Here's what I originally typed before settling on Havik in case you're curious on my thoughts on Baraka and Mileena:
I think either Baraka or Mileena. I hate hate HATE that the Tarkatan race was made into a disease.
Mileena, as much as I like that they redeemed her character, I miss the blood thirsty side to her.
And Baraka was chief of the entire Tarkatan horde, an entire race! they were demon mutants! thats awesome!
Now, as much as I like his involvement in the story, I feel like they kinda reduced him.
To ne fair, Shao is way younger here
Does anybody remember Lucifer the original protector of the Netherealm who was killed by Shinnok and took his place ?
I do but he was said to be a demigod like raiden
@@jacobweatherford4696 Yeah he was , but I want him to return in this new timeline to play a important role.
@@arunramani1724 its likely lucifer is in the new timeline and isnt dead and is looking after the dead there.
@@jacobweatherford4696 Yeah if Shinnok isn't there in the new timeline then Lucifer should be still present.
@@arunramani1724 even if he is still there liu keng likely took measures to make sure lucifer wouldnt be killed by shinnok
I think another thing that was overlooked in this video is that MK1 confirms Shinnok exists. It just mentions that he was made powerless. So that is proof he is in this timeline cause Shinnok is the creator of Shinnok's amulet. Geras states that Liu Kang made it impossible for the weapon to be forged as It's original creator was stripped of their powers. So maybe Shinnok will return as a villain, just not as a former elder god.
They really catfished us with Onaga’s army.
Shang Tsung was so anticlimactic. Quan Chi too. First of all why did they raise the pyramid second the fight was dry. Just one round and it was over…
If multiple outcomes to the fight at the end of Mortal Kombat 11 exist, is it not possible that Kronika won in one of them and is still out there?
Probably but she may just be unaware of anything happening beyond her own timeline.
@@isplat927yeah considering how scared and confused Titan kitana was when Liu kang sent her to his time, only Liu and shang are aware of other timelines
Yes actually. In one of Geras vs Geras intros, he said that his Kronika is alive and well.
Exactly 💯 plus if you look back at mk11, kronika knew Lui Kang and raiden would threaten her timeline and that's why she always set them against each other. I have a feeling she had anticipated everything and let Lui Kang and Shang sung have their illusion of victory
Potentially Titan Havik will either forge an alliance with Titan Onaga or they will merge into a more deadly Titan.
This is not Dragon ball...
Theres nothing about fusion in MK universe, alternative characters are alternative versions of characters, they born like this.
@@tyrantking222not true fusions are possible. Mk11 shinnok magic
@@tristan364 Shinokk is a god, he don't have power to merge titans, only an titan Shinokk, but before Cronika's fall, Shinokk was basically dead, so he cannot be a titan in any timeline.
@@tyrantking222well didn’t both revenant Liu Kang, past Liu Kang and Raiden merge in mk11 then mk1 fire god Liu Kang is both revenant and past combined
After watching the whole story mode, I think it’s safe to say that this Liu timeline reset alllll the way back to roughly MK4, possibly even the beginning. If you notice as you mentioned Liu has the knowledge of the amulet, and the dragon army which means that both Onaga and Shinnok hadn’t risen to power as yet like the previous games have shown. What is shown though was Titan Shang trying to bring back the original plot of what ifs from all the MK games and current Liu preventing it to really bring something new which is why there was a new Armageddon war. Also to add, in Shao’s and Reiko’s ending it is shown where Onaga may be restored to power in future installations as well as Shinnok because of Shang’s ending where he found that sorcerer tomb
Liu didn't reset the timeline, it was dialled all the way back to the beginning of time and he had to start from scratch. Literally not one of the previous games' events happened in this timeline's history
@@aarononeil9832 Technically not true because of all the different Titans, that means MK11 Aftermath is still relevant to the current timeline.
@@aarononeil9832he did, he rest the timeline after aftermath which means we can now just distinguish everything post aftermath and pre aftermath
I wonder if netherrealm will ever go back to letting you create your own mk character again if I'm not mistaken you could do that in Armageddon
The One Being still exists in one way or another, predating the Titans themselves.
@bionuvsnui3142 I think one of one the writers for previous MK games said the titans predate the one being but I’m not 100% sure
Dorfen and Brokkade are mentioned in intro dialogues. Who are they in MK history? I can't find anything on them.
Geras and liu kang had an intro about titan Onaga being their toughest opponent yet.
Dunno if you guys listened to all the dialogue, but geras tells liu kang that there is a titan onaga…..and he is the most DANGEROUS of ALL of the titans……
Titan havok is sick as fuck and almost like a breath of fresh air to main baddies in mortal kombat, imo at least. I hope they do add onaga in some way in the next installment, imagine Titan Havok going out and finding other evil titans to start a war with titan Lui Kang. Than titan onaga somehow just takes the lifeforce of his "allies" and now hes the main threst
Problem is NRS rarely commits to their teasers for the next game or at least how we want. MK9 kinda did but they beat Shinnok in the first chapter of MKX and Quan Chi had the spotlight most of the game anyway. MKX had the worst tease of a Dark Raiden vs Revenat Liu Kang war only to rip that away from us two chapters into MK11 just to bring in time travel and member berries. This unfortunately was the one thing they not only fully committed to in MK1 but they doubled down hard so don't get your hopes up
They could of just tried building current Havik into the chaotic madman he's supposed to be but noooo, gotta go with the multiverse Titan BS now.
Now let me be honest, these are some interesting theories, but honestly, I think that we’re gonna be in for an interesting time here. But I just hope that we get a great story to wrap up the Timeline Multiverse stuff or expand on it. Regardless, I think we’re gonna be in a interesting and potentially fun story all the same. My personal opinion on this timeline shtick is that as much as I somewhat enjoyed it, I would’ve preferred to see a story that occurs in this new era that takes on a completely unanticipated threat in the timeline and tease Titan Shang Tsung at the end. It would’ve been both great to see and it wouldn’t grind me up so much about the sudden change in the story.
I hope kotal gets a return
his name was datamined in the files plus was mentioned by sindel how raiden beaten kotal
There’s voice lines mentioning titan onaga
So technically we could get a Titan Onaga which would be Astronomically powerful than just regular Onaga. As stated in the game there’s endless times lines with a Titan version of all characters. Didn’t liu Kang even say there’s one with a Titan Kano?
Yea that animated movie featuring kenshi was basically about titan Kano
@@Trippyrockstarr oh crap I still haven’t seen that one thanks for reminding me
@@Supreme0757 yea it’s pretty good Kano mk11 ending is pretty much cannon in that movie
Titan Kano is dead and killed by old man Sub-Zero. Kenshi is the only survivor
Hey Bro. I wanna see you do a Video about The Multiverse and What possible Scenarios we can see with all the Infinite Possibilities With Every Character being a Titan of They're own Respective Timeline.
I bet erron black is a Wild West sheriff in this era
Yes, WHERE happened to the other villains.
Tbh I don't even know if Liu knows about Onaga. Maybe he knows from Geras, but our Liu Kang only has lived since MK9 and Onaga never resurfaced after Raiden altered the timeline. Would he have even known to do anything to prevent Onaga's rise?
It might be possible that he knows after his revenant version combined with him right before becoming fire God. Running with Quan Chi for 2 decades and running Netherealm had to have had some kind of Onaga mention.
There was mention of a titan Onaga, i hope he becomes the dlc and titan Havik will be either mk2 or w.e. Speaking of titans ots a good chance we might see other hero titans story, such as Kitenna, Kung Lao, and Raiden.
Wondering if this evil Khan is our original timeline Khan.
Havent watched a vid from u in a while
I FOR ONE BELIEVE THIS NEW ERA HAS AMAZING POTENTIAL!!!
As long the fans dont start cancel culturing lol
Wait a minute to cause chaos he must make them powerful so it can last longer
Titan Onaga is mentioned in multiple Geras intro dialogues as being the biggest threat of them all.
Unless titan Onaga has the kamidogu it wouldn’t even make sense cux Onaga on his own couldn’t even defeat shaonkahn in Armageddon. Onaga was only originaly superior to general shao or advisor shao to onagas rule. If Onaga gathered them once again and became a titan then I could see that being a reality but it wouldn’t make sense otherwise since Onaga was killed by shao Kahn meaning he was weaker than shao Kahn in the original timelines story during the events of mk1-7. I would love for Onaga to return but honestly he’s become way too overhyped and overrated
Shao poisoned Onaga in the original timeline cause he knew he could not defeat Onaga on his own. Go back and research the lore. Onaga with the power of time keeper could still be a treat even without the Koamidogu.
@@fernandoenamorado2480cry harder mathaboggi Onaga hater 😂😂😂😂😂
Holy shit. There's a way you can turn mk characters into a point system. Kronika wanted a balance of good and evil with Raiden being the one who tips the scales
Shinnok may be an elder demon in this era
I think shinok does exist simply because when shao confronts liu kang with the amulet, liu basically says you do not know what you have and how dangerous it is and shao says he wouldn’t wield it with out first researching it. How could he research something or someone who doesn’t exist? There would be no information l, the only one who would know about it is Shang Tdung and I don’t think shao is foolish enough to just take Shang tsung at his word
During my playthrough i thought once the mentioned the dragon army, that it was gonna be his intro as one of the main final villains if THE main villain.
I wonder if shinnok's mk1 design would be a mix of his mk4 and mkx designs.
There's A Datamined that there's going be A klassic Shinnok as A Kameo i think for kombat pass 2

I’m just glad that all of the arcade endings are Cannon and the Multiverse😂❤ and there titan version are in a higher plan like kitana and the other elders Armageddon was kinda in the game we can see the temple of Argues
Multiverse storylines are lazy bullshit.
I think Shinnok never became a fallen god. Which makes me wonder on who runs the netherrealm? Is it Lucifer?
He could be the protector of the Netherrealm.
At the end of "Aftermath" on MK11, after Shang Tsung had defeated Kronika and the fight between him and Liu Kang ends, in Liu Kang's ending, he starts reshaping time from that point, with Kronika destroyed. Chronologically speaking, everything in MK1 happens after Kronika's death, meaning that she cannot exist in the current timeline because, as Geras says, Titans can't be revived, period.
Geras doesn't say anything about Elder Gods or Demigods, though. In fact, Elder Gods cannot die; Shinnok was still very dead after Raiden beheaded him, but was left in a vegetative state (a fate worse than death). But because Kronika is Shinnok's mother, then with her gone from the start of this timeline, then Shinnok (nor Cetrion) couldn't have been born without breaking causality.
They're not demi gods, they're lesser gods. Taven, Daegon and Rain are demi gods as they are born from a god (Argus) and a mortal (Delia for Taven and Daegon and whoever Rain's mother was) Netherrealm Studios are just full of morons who can't figure out something that Greek mythology established thousands of years ago.
I knew Onaga wasn't going to make it. The foe that Lui Kang could never predict was......Shang Tsung. At least it wasn't Kronika I guess. Can never have your hopes to high with Dominic writing the story.
I think that no they won't out right finish the multivesal timeline arc as it is possible that by the end of that arc some of the known hero titans timelines maybe merged with Liu Kang's. Of which can lead to a new version of Shinnok being born or possible multiple possible versions like siblings with the same abilities but each could either go down the path of good or evil.
Why would they want to end it? The point of it is so they have way more options for storytelling so they don't hit a dead end like Armageddon again.
@@Axel_KasaiFirst off, where did I say that? I said I doubt they're gonna end the multivesal timeline arc outright. As I see it more like a saga and something that can be delved into in future titles. Also, Armageddon wasn't a dead end, Midway was gonna go out of business so they were trying to go out with a bang before WB picked up the people who helped make Mortal Kombat and from there formed nether realm studios, ofc nether realm studios is a bit more independent today but they are not gonna recycle old stories.
Off topic to the video, but does anyone know what's the deal with Havik's abilities?
He can regenerate arms, legs and even his head, but not his lips?
He didn't even use his abilities in the story mode cutscenes, did he only get them after the story was over? Not even his tower ending mentions them.
Are we supposed just to accept that he can do that without any explanation?
Is it even canon that he can do that?

Good question to your video title HBTW. Because that's my main question. The only mention I heard of Onaga is in Reiko's end and a brief banter of Liu Kang's. But with Shinnok it's nearly nothing. Only time during story mode Shao used Shinnok's amulet and Liu Kang said "it's creator is powerless."

Awesome video! I will say, that is 1 thing I don't really like about MK1, alot characters, which seems to be mostly the villains, have all been brought down strength/power wise. I hate seeing Shao Rain and Havik all being jobbers. I coukd not get used to that, at least with shao
The real way Liu Kang should have reset the timeline would have been to strip Shinok of his godhood. Shinok manipulated everything
Didn't Daegon create the Red Dragon, which the Black Dragon spawned from? Unless they get a new story... but that's be something I'd have thought Liu would have looked to prevent.

That’s what I thought the first time I played story mode. But if you realize Geras says its creator is been neutralized. So I wonder if it’s like a Hephaestus thing, where someone else created Shinnoks amulet, and gave it to him. Idk, food for thought.
Reiko, in one of his intros with Homelander confirms that he survived in taming Onaga 🙏🏽
1. Why did Lui Kang manipulate things to make Mileena the real sister of Kitana? There was no reason to do that, and she was never naturally born so he had to intervene to do that.
2. If Bi Han was prideful before, then why make him grandmaster instead of Tundra.
3. Lui Kang mentioned the elder gods many times … who would they be since they never existed because the one being never existed.
4. If the One Being did exist, how does it feel about Lui Kang screwing things up?
5. Why make Shao Kahn a warrior at all?
6. It Lui didn’t want the power of keeping time, why didn’t he let his Raiden do it?
7. Why is Shang Tsung even alive?
8. Only 1 person defeated Kronika canonically, so how was time split and others believe they beat Kronika. Doesn’t that mean the multiverse already existed if others beat Kronika in their world. And doesn’t that mean that isn’t Lui Kang’s Kitana?
9. Where are Taven/Daegon?
10. Why did Lui Kang destroy Edenia and merge it with outworld when he knew what it meant to Kitana?
11. He lived eons relishing in his choice to become a lesser god, but he couldn’t pull strings to make him and Kitana a thing? When are we gonna admit Lui loves Kung Lao more than Kitana? He shitted on her in his reality, didn’t even look in her direction.
1. He gave Mileena a chance at a normal life with a family and a chance to rule as an honorable leader
2. He likely had similar plans for Bi Han like he did Mileena but Bi Han still ended up betraying Liu Kang and Kuai Liang. Bi Han also is older and thus likely given more right to inherit the title. Tundra/Kuai Liang is now Scorpion as Hanzo Hasashi is chopped liver
3/4. The Elder Gods existed along with The One Being and fought him to victory. The One Being's essence was used to create the realms as we know them thus The One Being is not a sentient being as long as the realms stay split and wouldn't be able to have any thoughts on Liu Kang's actions. This lore was established in MK Deception. As for the Elder Gods, we just haven't seen them yet in this timelime
5. Liu Kang is not merciless and simply nerfed Shao into being born a cripple who was still able to become a powerful warrior but not powerful enough to become a conquerer of realms.
6. His Raiden is a titan in his own timeline just like everyone else is in theirs while Geras has the most experience with the hourglass and its powers outside of Liu Kang and Kronika and is the next best choice
7. Similar to what he did with Shao
8. Let's be real, NRS pulled this one out of their ass
9. Edenia and Outworld are of the same realm this time around so if Argus is confirmed to exist here as it's protector god then Taven and Daegon most likely exist too. Especially if Rain is still the bastard son of Argus. But what they are doing exactly is anyone's guess
10. Hard to say but likely to prevent any potential mergers and avoid Edenia's previous fate by having both realms exist as one in a more prosperous state
11. As a lesser god he still has the responsibility of protecting Earthrealm and thus wouldn't have time for love. He likely keeps his interactions with Kitana to a minimum because he does love her but knows he simply cannot have any sort of affection towards her due to his status as a god. Raiden and Kung Lao are best friends now and not himself and Kung Lao so he really isn't giving Kung Lao special treatment especially if my theory on his feelings towards Kitana are true.
Reikos ladder ending mentions Onaga still being around in this timeline just defeated by Shao Khans ancestor and imprisoned. It is a ladder ending so could just be throwaway lore
There was also talk through some interactions between Lui kang and Geras of a Titan Onaga. And between mirror matches of Lui
I think in Reiko and Shao Kahn’s ending tower they said the ultimate weapon “Onaga” will be unleashed. So I think mk2 big bad will be Onaga
i am asumming we get an DLC based on titan havik and then off to the next game it would be interesting what villain they choose now as a lot of variables have arose especially since shao is leading a rebellion shang and quan escaped from prison, Lin Kuei is again evil and both black and maybe red dragon are back??? I hope we get to see either evil titan shao or maybe titan shinnok make an apperance in the next game
honestly i definitely would love to see onaga back, after learning more about deception and armageddon i think bringing him back would be a fun choice, he already looked awesome back then imagine him now with current gen graphics, also having a character that big on the roster would be interesting since onaga is fucking huge in size (pretty sure in Armageddon he matched blaze in height)
bigger when you include the wings
I want to see a boss fight against the One Being in the next game.
I REALLY hope Onaga not only comes back but also Shinnok comes back in this new era of MK1 and we get Shinnok’s return to reclaim his power that Liu stripped him of 😃😈that would be an exciting new storyline and a great way to bring back Shinnok who’s been gone since MKX
As a Shinnok fan, I reaaaaly want this to happen
Unexpected villain team up I want to see:
Havik and Daegon. This will open up to more characters, Hsu hao, mavado etc.
Or even better Havik lies to Caro to wake up Daegon prematurely.
Let's hope we'ss see Shinnok and Cetrion in the game - it would be great if some of the elder gods would be playable again.
Geras says Liu Kang made Shinnok powerless
I thought Shinnok and Cetrion were the children of Kronika. I would have thought that with their mother destroyed in the Old Era, they would not exist in the New Era.
That makes me think about if Hanzo exists since we already have a Scorpion. Or maybe he’ll be a new recruit for the Shirai Ryu down the line
I actually think that amulet was given to shao from Titan shang tsung from his timeline
We saw that Armageddon still happened, just on a grander scale with the battle being between kombatants from multiple timelines instead of just one.
Talk about Titan Onaga jerad and lue Kang talking in intro
“Its creator is powerless as I had made”
Titan Liu Kang said that in the story mode, about Shinnok’s Amulet
Baraka references praying to Delia as well
Shinnok was said to be "its maker is powerless", so suggesting he exist
As the saying goes, “ the more things change, the more it stays the same. “ considering that we again fought the deadly alliance atop the pyramid this time tells that this end result will happen across all realities no matter who keeps the hour glass and events that once have happened to established characters like kenshi, havik, and Kuai liang having their origins explored speaks. However when a antagonist like Titan havik appears like he did, he becomes a major wildcard like joker. Anything is possible now, so hopefully NRS can keep its focus on liu kangs era next game as history mentions since we really do not know the changes. Onaga may have been the first ruler for all we know but far to dangerous to follow
Does Titan Hotaru exist as well?
@@zionmolina3039 anything is possible
Title needs spell checking bro, but keep up the good work 😊
I'd like to see a timeline with a reversal for the Elder God siblings. With a dark verion Cetrion and a light version of Shinnok.
I hope Onaga returns in a story dlc, where Shao's attempt to tame Onaga blows up in his face as he plunges Outworld into darkness
dang man i kinda miss the old intro
So tend to like this channel but one the dragon emp is the most interesting but its not like the information on him was obscure or hidden. The only thing remotely i took away was some of the finer points on rain.
Question - Is the regular Onaga powerful enough to take out a Titan variant of at least some characters?
Onaga is incredibly powerful, so much so it took the deadly alliance, and Raiden to sacrifice himself to take out the dragon king but he practically ate everyone’s abilities like he was walking on tall grass. It would be interesting to see if he could take down a titan. Considering Liu-kang became a Demi-God in 11 I would assume he can take down more than one titan.
I think boon confirmed that Onaga is on par with A titan but not stronger than one@@Wafiabbyxx
Your idea on Shinnok really confuses me because in the same conversation about the Amulet, Geras says “it’s creater is powerless” suggesting he got the same treatment as Shang and Quan and likely got groomed by Damashi as well so he could create the Amulet.
Any chance for a video about theories like Raiden’s sister or Madam Bo being the genderswapped Bo Rai Cho?
How did Lui make Onagas backstory that when he never met him in the original timeline because he died in DA or the rebooted timeline?
Old timelines were probably able to be looked upon for future reference.
Basically since Liu kang obtain all of his relevant counterpart memories of the rebooted mk9-mkx the same thing also applied to when he merged with Raiden. Remember Raiden obtain Visions of the future because of his future self aka (Dark Raiden from the original timeline) before he died to Shao Khan obtaining Blaze in Armageddon so is fair to said the Rebooted Timeline Raiden also had the visions/knowledge of what happened in the og mk1-2-3-4 DA-deception and that knowledge was all passed onto Fire God Liu Kang when he merged with Raiden
Idk but I think titan havik will potentially be the one to unleash onaga
Argus is mentioned if u pick rain for the final chapter of story mode
That's an alternate rain
Everyone being a Titan and being above the Elder Gods just makes everything so silly
It really doesn't. The elder gods were pointless long before they introduced the concept of Titans.
Itd be cool if titan havok frees onaga and makes the chaos realm
Have you considered a comparison between the original/altered and current timelines?
Was it just me or did Liu look nervous when he heard the name demashi
I wonder what Shinnok is going to be like within The New Era Timeline. He is still going to be ruthless as always.
honestly who knows, most of the bad guys got turned good in this new timeline.
@@acecashman1237 yes I noticed that and it’s interesting to see Mileena as the official daughter of King Jarrod and Sindel and twin sister of Kitana as well.
I hope Shinnok becomes an elder demon or some sort of mega powerful sorcerer in the new timeline. Always felt like his potential hasn't been fully realised
@@olofacosta3192 Yeah but who knows probably.
@@henkaistudio I'm guessing he'll be a dlc kameo
Tanya and the Umgadi worship Argus and Delia, so they are still gods in this timeline.
Pretty sure they're the protectors of the new outworld
