Huzzah ! Recently watched the first two seasons of The Great and loved it. Couldn't wait for season 3 to come out so here we are.
I don't know how to feel about that specific event in episode 6 but well... hope you like this. Thank you for watching.

peter dying broke heart into a zillion pieces i was absolutely shattered i still am i will never get over his death. i just hope somehow they can bring peter back alive they were too beautiful to not have an endgame, btw the editing was soooo good

I was trying to not watch the whole season again but this takeout from the show makes me want to watch it all again. Their love story is only a small part of an entire court ceaselessly undermining her absolute authority. Catherine believes her absolute authority can bend the empire to her will but at the same time everyone has to keep their own con going. Ultimately that takes gun blasts to control when she believed that inspiration could form a new Russia. Till the last second I was rooting for her that at least she could change Peter. She could not and Peter or her had to die. In the meantime some of the best supporting characters cast since The Sopranos kept me laughing and grossed out by their heinous behavior. They ended this season perfectly. I’m okay with the story ending but I’m still craving more. Like any great art, it leaves me wishing that every day could bring such a fulfilling entertainment experience.
