      Hello my friend. I wait for my ak 500 tomorrow. Is there a difference in cooling performance with the second fan ?

    • @charaznable8072
      @charaznable8072 Год назад +4

      @@proletariaRt It dropped my stress test temps from 95 to 88 that's pretty significant but it's really gonna depend on your airflow of your case which I don't have alot of fans because I hate noise but if you have alot of fans and alot of airflow in your case then the added extra fan might not make much difference.

    I’m using the slimmer ak400 variant. Love the clean look of the AK series. Does a decent job on my 3600. I prefer single tower coolers as they usually don’t block the first ram slot for RGB and tall ram sticks.

    • @DannysTechChannel
      @DannysTechChannel  Год назад +7

      That’s one of the things that was really impressive with the AK500. It’s a bigger tower cooler and doesn’t block the Ram slots at all.

    I like this type of px cooler as you have a directional air stream... you could have a front case fan blowing at the cooler which then blows it straight through, out the other side to the exhaust fan on the rear. This way you also have positive air pressure I installed my cooler so the fans (I upgraded my cooler with a good coolermaster fan on the inlet side and the original fan on the outlet side of the block. It actually points up at the top fans and when gaming you can feel the hot stream of air pumping out the top... i see so many AiO setups with tonnes of fans, for god knows what

    The low rpm low noise is common then I guess. Mine does it too. I'll be watching a movie and the droning sound will come and go but not that alot. It sounds like a slight bearing rubbing noise. I'm overclocking a R5 3600 to 4.3 gigahertz and on games like war zone and Halo infinite it will never jump over 50 degrees Celsius. It's a good cooler I got it on Amazon for 40 bucks on sale, worth every penny.

    Nice review, there's only a couple of them on this cooler.
    I have this Cooler on a AMD 7700X. It's totally fine stock but even better since I applied a negative PBO curve in bios. Doesn't even hit the target temperature of 95c in Cinebench when pulling 125w on the package. I moved the stock fan to the back and put an RGB FC 120 deepcool fan on the front. This didn't really affect temps. It may on a lower TDP CPU.
    As far as fan noise. The rgb fan from deep cool is quiet at all speeds. The stock fan that came with the cooler has a whine at high RPMs.
