I think it would be hysterical if a group of you (Billy, Ryan, and Sean) would spend a night in the convent! You should camp in the creepy hallway and see what you can record. 👏👻
Maureen , Thank you Billy for making Dan’s work available to everyone to watch . I have just watched the virtuel tour it’s amazing , Dan did a great job , I am a older lady with very little understanding how Dan did this , but it’s so good I will be going back to this again and again what a treat .
In the virtual walk through, which is pretty cool by the way, there an old lady reflection on the glass of a door, if I could send you the screenshot you would see her too, it’s fairly clear, she’s wearing a cap and something like a frilly collar
Billy and Gwen, thank you for sharing the convent with us! Dan, thanks for sharing your skill and gifts with us. Sean, you are a mystical craftsman. All this together with your home and family have captured my heart! ❤
I have been grateful these past 5 years that RUclips has been here to make my retirement the most interesting and informative time of my 75 years. But bloody hell, that virtual tour of Dan's is a marvel of the age. Sooo happy to have experienced that float-through. Thank you Bill and Dan. ☺
When everything is all done you should have Dan come back to redo the whole thing and then hide a tiny "something" in each room for people to try and find in the 360 picture. Maybe a kid's toy or special object from the convent. Always look forward to seeing the progress. Keep cracking on.
Billy this is really nice for us viewers to have so we can get a better idea of how the rooms of the convent relate to one another. Thanks for dong it Dan!
YES! A sleepover party for adults only would make a great video!!! Yes, please do. Everything looks different at midnight. You could do a dramatic reading at 1 AM.
The sound in the Convent Kitchen is very concentrated and flat now. No more echoes of talking and sounds bouncing all over. It could be a recording studio now. Great job with the dry wall.
Thank you Billy for sharing your experience with us all…I am sure that it’s very overwhelming for you taking on such a great project but also very rewarding and wonderful too- thank you for your fantastic work x
Hi Billy, We use matterport to sell property listings here in the states. They really help buyers view the layout of a house prior to seeing it in person. Thanks to Dan for doing a massive scan of the convent. xx
Billy with the convent restoration and renovations you are onto something big. I can see that in the not to distant future you will have a first class all in one wedding venue. The couple would have their vows in the chapel, floowed by a bridal walk down the cobbled courtyard to the reception. Once all the formalities are over then the newly weds would retire to the bridal suite on one of the upper floors. Now you couldn't ask for a better venue than that.
Opposite of " stick your neck out". Meaning saying something you shouldn't or get in someone's business. "Wind your neck in" = Shut up, mind your own business.
Wow! The virtual walk thru is absolutely amazing. Anyone who is complaining about your lack of speed in these Reno’s doesn’t appreciate that quality work takes time. If you do it quickly and in a slap dash manner you’re only going to have to it again in the future so it’s a false use of time. Do it right the first time.
What a great job Dan did for you! Please let him know we enjoyed looking at the convent. Thanks to you too, Billy for letting everyone view it! You and your whole team do such amazing work! 😊👍🏻
The virtual tour is amazing Dan! Billy lying on the drywall made me laugh. So cool to zoom in on details like the old keys, lock plates etc.. I can't believe we see every speck in the wood every detail is visible. Just fantastic technology!!!
Wow, wow and wow! First off thank you so much for letting us view this. It was really like taking a walk and actually getting a feel for the place. Top floor was slightly spooky and nearly 💩 myself seeing Billy at the door and I think Dan running up the corridor so I made a drink, sat at Billy’s chair with my feet on the desk 😂. Absolutely stunning and once again thank you for making this all real for us. Ps thank Dan too ❤️❤️
Thanks for the virtual tour. When you guys finish the Convent you should have him back over and do another Virtual Tour and put it side by side so everyone can see the change. It would be great for you to have to see to all the great work you guys are putting into it.
What a building! The virtual tour is amazing, loved seeing that oak staircase in a bit more in detail, it’s stunning! Have a love and knowledge for historical, my husband is a old school skilled/trained Carpenter/Shop Fitter, both of us really enjoying watching, you can always tell a good Tradesman at work, well done to you and your team in restoring such a beautiful treasure.
Thank you, Dan, for the mapping, and Billy, for the link to the Matterport virtual Convent tour. Actually got a bit lost at times but with continued use, that will work out. Even figured out the bit about measurement. It's so generous of you, Billy, to allow us this opportunity to see The Convent so intimately. I can't thank you enough!! Wish I could visit you in person, but I realize you are running a renovation, a RUclips channel and most importantly, you are attending to your lovely family. You and Gwen are raising two adorable boys. That alone is a full-time job, in addition to everything else on your plate!! God bless you all and the extended family!! Sean's plasterboard work in the kitchen is absolutely perfect!! Brilliant, Sean!! Chuck in Northern New England
LOVE the virtual tour. I mean it's almost like being there in person. Awesome. Good on Dan for scanning this whole thing. Amazing work and brilliant to share it so we can "tour" the place from 1000's of miles away. Appreciate the share and Dan's work.
Awesome I'll be looking forward to seeing what Dan created for you Billy. Thank you for sharing it with all of us. I am in Oklahoma USA and am to old to travel anymore so I will feel like I was younger and seeing it the next best way. Again Thank you Dan and Billy for allowing this old lady feel young and on a journey.
Everyday, I wake up have my breakfast and tea, turn on RUclips and wait for Billy and Co. I love watching the videos and seeing the convent progression. All such hard workers and cheerful too. Thank you !!!
I've done a a lot of drywall here in the US. You guys are doing just fine. Is it a "production" schedule for your work? Of course not. You're not doing a housing tract or neighborhood housing. I used to do tons of that. Getting paid by the sheet. And yes, I used to hustle to get it done. You're doing custom work for yourselves. It absolutely will take longer. Keep up the good work. Really looking forward to the Chapel remodel. I really like that space.
If only this amazing technology was available when I was in the business of selling homes, large and small country homes, what a game changer. I’m sure Dan is in great demand from both residential and commercial estate agents everywhere. Imagine adding a commentary in the background as you walk through this amazing virtual tour. Fantastic!
It was so much fun touring the convent virtually. I see Dan caught you laying on the pile of dry wall (plaster board) and Shawn up in the small cherry picker. I really enjoyed poking around from room to room. One room has a beautiful dresser in it. Thanks for sharing that Billy and Dan!
I had way too much fun with the convent look around. Standing next to the unit in the Chapel gives u an idea of the size, and scale of the task ahead. And Billy, I found you lol
That was a blast and some fun editing , I even got lost and couldn't find way out fast enough without a few surprises! Brilliant! Thank you Billy and Dan.
Thank you both! This is fascinating. Shawn, great job! I watch every day within 30 minutes of coming home from work. I can’t wait to see the entire convent completed with furniture. Furniture makes a room feel comfortable. Thank you again! 😀✌️
Just did the tour- wow. Amazing being able to see it like this. Great work Dan and did catch a glimpse of Billy at the top of those steps plus a shadow or 2 of possibly Steve. Thank you so much for doing this but ever more for sharing it. Take care and God bless.
This whole time I had the wrong idea of exactly where y’all were working in the convent. This virtual tour really helped me understand the positioning of the building now. Brilliant Billy!
Virtual tour is fantastic really helps to get a feel of the layout of the place. I am now even more convinced that your idea of moving the corridor to one side so it has natural light and having larger rooms off is the way forward. The cell doors will make wonderful kitchen units. I am looking forward to seeing that happen. Thanks for another great video.
I'm checking out the virtual tour now and it is really cool. There is SO much that still needs to be done. This is definitely a labor of love and a project that will take a couple years, at least. These daily videos are such a great log of the progress. This tour is so cool! Thank you!
I think it would be hysterical if a group of you (Billy, Ryan, and Sean) would spend a night in the convent! You should camp in the creepy hallway and see what you can record. 👏👻
“I ain’t afraid of no ghosts!” lol
Cookie, I think Billy is inviting u over too for a sleep over at the convent
@@christinegott3699 it would be so funny! I hope they try it!
BRILLIANT idea 😂
I love this idea s well, perhaps they can set up a couple of cameras in different areas and see if they can capture anything
Maureen , Thank you Billy for making Dan’s work available to everyone to watch . I have just watched the virtuel tour it’s amazing , Dan did a great job , I am a older lady with very little understanding how Dan did this , but it’s so good I will be going back to this again and again what a treat .

Seems like there is a little something that brightens up most of the shots :)
Billy this is really nice for us viewers to have so we can get a better idea of how the rooms of the convent relate to one another. Thanks for dong it Dan!

That’s awesome! What a talented man Dan is! 😊
Great to see Dan again, hope he is happy back in the U.K. Great work guys.
'Wind your neck in' ...had to look that one up and now I'll make sure and use it all the time. good one!
Opposite of " stick your neck out". Meaning saying something you shouldn't or get in someone's business.
"Wind your neck in" = Shut up, mind your own business.
So excited to see the 360° view of the convent. Living across the pond I probably won't ever make it to France. This is the next best thing! AWESOME
Thanks Billy for always taking the time to produce a quality video.. so enjoy your work 🎉❤
Cheers to Dan and Sean 🍷
What truely astounds me is the amount of skills you each possess & are very professional.
Freaking amazing! Thanks Dan for the work and thanks Billy for allowing us to see Dan;s work! what a treat!

Fantastic 360 walk-through, and great cameos Billy in the doorway, stairwell, laying on the drywall and the hall :D. Well done.
The virtual walk through is just spectacular. Difficult to believe how it can be done. You are my favourite RUclips channel by far Billy.
Just started the 3D tour, which is amazing and I've already found a shadow figure.😅 Someone didn't quite hide enough. ❤🐨
You made search. And I found the figure. LOL
Body in the kitchen!
@@ludovica8221 Yes I got them all and also there is a picture sitting on the floor in some parts
Wow the scanning is amazing ……mind blowing in fact…….! 😲
Billy laying down on the sheet rock while Sean works... Nice to watch your progress and the transformation taking place!
What a great job Dan did for you! Please let him know we enjoyed looking at the convent. Thanks to you too, Billy for letting everyone view it! You and your whole team do such amazing work! 😊👍🏻

Fantastic virtual tour. Great job Dan! I even saw a suspicious character 👻 😂upstairs.
Thank you Billy for posting Dan's scanning for us! To be able to "walk" thru the convent virtually here in Texas is a real treat!!!!!

The convent is HUGE. 😁👍🏻

Thanks- enjoyed the Virtual Tour link. Had a good laugh at what's holding down the stack of sheetrock.
That is way cool. Great job Dan. It is so nice to see the convent and how it all works together.
Thanks for the virtual tour. When you guys finish the Convent you should have him back over and do another Virtual Tour and put it side by side so everyone can see the change. It would be great for you to have to see to all the great work you guys are putting into it.

I just LOVE the color combination of the chapel wood paneling. Wish I could get swatches!
Omg this is so awesome! It’s so much bigger than I realised and I already new it was big. It’s a conference centre in the making.

Thanks for the virtual tour- I was surprised how nice the floors are!

More like 5 years, it's a big building and it's been done at a "leisurely financial pace" which avoids running out of cash, hopefully!?!
