  • B1P-18 | Siemens NX 2007 Tutorial Modeling | Complex constructions can contain several hundred features and should be structured. Using feature groups, such structures can be created and the construction becomes clear and comprehensible. Feature groups combine features as a group and can be patterned, changed, added to or coloured together. The patterning of the feature groups is done in this course via coordinate systems that allow individual orientation for each copy. With the command "general pattern" each copy can get an individual position and orientation.

Thank you. Yes, please show all the steps, you don't need to say what each step is, but showing them is helpful

Do not have the orientation tab in pattern feature, does my version of nx is too low(v.2023) or i shud check some option to enable that?
btw did it with pattern face, whats the difference with that and pattern feature?
    Thanks!

Recorded the video with NX 2008, but this menu has hardly changed since NX 10. Pattern face copies faces, not steps. This command would also work with stp data. But if the focus is on parametric design, you should choose pattern feature. You can find a comparison of the methods here: ruclips.net/video/F2r53_eEQow/видео.html

Hello, please teach the assembly part as well, thank you

Once the modeling is complete, the subject of assemblies follows. But first, users must be able to create the parts before combining them into assemblies.
      Thanks for watching.
