29:00 A more appropriate response would be to tell the homeowner to get a soil test. Most states over reasonably priced services or they can refer you to one. Then you know what your baseline is.
We just bought a Macintosh and Honey crisp, now Oct. 9 th. FF date the 19th., historically , this year may be later due to crazy weather... Heavy snow lowed typically, I would like to plant them 18" apart on angles. Q? Is it wise to hard prune knee high or is it better to wait until next season.. first time fruit tree grower. Thank you very much for these videos!!
On angles? What do you mean by that? We’re they bare root trees or potted? Where are you located? If you are in a cold climate I wouldn’t prune till lite winter/early spring.
Tom Spellman has the most sensible pruning videos on you tube!
He is a wonderfully knowledgeable man!
