Actually, Job was not a casualty of the war between good & evil, but surprisingly, a beneficiary. The horrible events that Job suffered were the means of revealing to him thru Elihu, that he was self-righteous, attributing his good deeds to his righteous character. The conviction of his true condition that he was given as he encountered God himself led to his humble repentance, intercessory prayer for his miserable comforter friends, & reinstatement or restoration of all that he had lost. This story not only provides us w/ an impressive view of the character of our arch enemy, but of God as someone who is although immensely powerful, present with us, fully aware of & concerned w/ all of our circumstances.
Feeling blessed with the discussion. God is love indeed.😇
