Just made a lifestyle change and it allowed me to own/drive a GT car for four years for free. So it was a good decision. I do miss it but I don't regret it. I think the RS and STO are the two best cars out there right now that aren't millions of dollars. Oh, and the 765LT.
Idk what you guys watched but it really wasn’t that close even with a 100hp difference and the fact that everyone wants the Porsche is a bit crazy. Also you guys are aware that the sto is a homologation car and is as hard core as the gt3 in terms of track ability. Motor trend actually tested it to be quicker
homologation car? hahahaha. you do know when motortrend tested the STO, as tested was $440k usd. The GT3 they tested was $195k. Even the gt2rs costed less than that, and we all know what would happen in a drag race or a track race between the 2 would have ended

Consider the weight as well. Lamborghini always shows the 'dry wait'. So no oils, fuel, coolants... At the end the weight to power ratio is nearly identical

shame 130hp difference 640hp vs 510hp. only a crazy believed that gt3 was won. the sto's direct competitor is the turbo s not the gt3. I would like to see sto vs gt3 in a curve :)
Considering this is a drag race between two cars that the core development plan was for them to corner, while it is cool. Doesn't make a ton of sense. It would be like taking a Dodge Demon and an equivalent other car and then doing a lap time race.

the power and torque in the Gt3 are very short. If feels there is no engine in the mid range..Only after 7000 rpms
