🤦♀️ oh my. I had forgotten how people try to pronounce words from the Southwest. Personally I find it slightly amusing yet highly irritating. If you're going to play someone's video on a place, learn to pronounce the places they've chosen to highlight.

I remember the airfield the most as it housed air tankers for fighting fires and bug spraying as well. In the 1980s I went to Tucson twice a week (the airfield was easily visible from I-10 just east of Riggs Rd) and it was always a treat to see a DC-4, DC-6 or DC-7 fly out of there (I never liked jets anyways) After a few accidents the old tankers were grounded in 2004 and the airworthy survivors were flown to various destinations.
Oooh. Comments roasting the tuck son. Lol. Also, the thumbnail and initial drone shots over those airplanes is private property, severely abused by locals. I feel bad for the land owners as folks have destroyed whatever was left of those aircraft… I knew girl who went out there with friends for an impromptu photo shoot, but they found out it’s private property and yes… the sheriff was called. I’ve driven by and there are clearly visible “no trespassing” signs. Don’t be destructive trespassers folks…
