As a og at 54 the first and only Jordan 4's I ever had were the original og 1989 bred 4's and they were not very comfortable so I never got another pair of 4's until I won these new 4 reimagined on the shock drop. These are definitely going into my rotation and on feet asap.
I got you beat, OG. I’m 60 and can’t remember when I got my first pair of 4’s. I just remember that they were all white. I wasn’t going to cop these, but; I knew it would be a challenge because of all the hype. I took L’s on all the apps and major retailers. Snipes finally came through for me after I waited in the queue for 45 minutes to an hour. The challenge of trying to cop and my upcoming birthday are the only reasons I went for it. They’re aight. I guess I’ve gotten numb to Jordans. A new release literally comes out every week.

I was one of people that was excited about the leather for this pair. As much as I love the OG's materials, I generally prefer leather. For example, my friend has a pair of the Jordan 4 Black Oreos from a while back and to this day the leather on those shoes still looks good. I hope I can secure a pair for retail as I've never owned a pair of the black cement 4s. Good luck to you and everyone who's trying for them.
I sold my 2019 pair last year. Wasn’t feeling the nubuck and the toe box on my wide foot. Yesterday I walked into my DSG around noon and got signed up for this pair. They had a pair in a case and they look really nice. These will be much easier to keep clean and fit is better

One thing that I notice is that netting on the sides looks smaller (smaller footprint area) than some of my other 4s. Not sure if that is more inline with the OGs from back in the day. The old hang tags were made of clear plastic that was VERY thick and sturdy. I’ve got my old orange hang tags from my VIs back in 91-92. These are EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE. I love them. Wore them out today actually

I always go a half size up on 4s. These are sooooo beautiful. For the first, i may double up 😶 I hear what youre saying about the hype...but it was justified due to how amazing the sneaker is in-hand. Of course we don't NEED these but man oh man...they are nice . Hoping you get a W on release day.

I hit on the shock drop in my size 12 and I just got a notification from Nike my pair coming on the 13th Tuesday and the military come out around my birthday so I’m getting those as well
I wear 10 in Jordan 1. What size should I get for Jordan 4 or 3? Going to pass on these. All leather works but would prefer in off-white with grey midsole. Fire reds were ny first Jordan 4's back in 88. They cost $100 back then which was crazy for a kid to spend but I flipped burgers all summer for those.

I really like them, but I'd rather pick up the last nubuk retro before buying these. The leather looks to be good on these. It looks similar quality to the what the 4s and dunk from above 4s. Do you think comfort improved on these newer pairs? honestly never owned a pair of 4's but have heard they aren't the most comfortable Jordan. Just wanted to hear your opinion from someone who owned older pairs.
This pair was a friends and not my size so I haven’t had them on feet yet. However, they’re crazy soft and have a ton of extra padding around the ankle (they remind me of the SB 4s). I’m grabbing my pair Saturday and those are for the toe. I bet they’re more comfortable than most 4s, but not something I’d want on feet for extended periods of time.
Paid the resale early $290 which wasn’t bad just $58. I need 3 pair 2 for my sons which I should get for retail. I’m good but resellers making only $58 is some smoker crap.
The original military blues were my first ever basketball shoe back in the day. I look forward to trying to get a new pair in 2024.

I hit on the shock drop in my size 12 and I just got a notification from Nike my pair coming on the 13th Tuesday and the military come out around my birthday so I’m getting those as well
I wear 10 in Jordan 1. What size should I get for Jordan 4 or 3?
Going to pass on these. All leather works but would prefer in off-white with grey midsole. Fire reds were ny first Jordan 4's back in 88. They cost $100 back then which was crazy for a kid to spend but I flipped burgers all summer for those.
I still like my o.g 2019 pair...Im just so used to them in nubuck but these will still be a double up..I will pay resale if I have to cause these will not be releasing with nike air on heel for minimum 6 7yrs

Try selling 2 or 3 old pairs. I sold a 2 pairs that I wore but in good condition for 150 each and now it's going to pay for these bad boys

They are worth going for to use for trade bait on something down the road like the military blue 4s if you don't hit that's what I'm doing. Already secured one pair of these breds and going for more even though I'm not a fan of them I know they'll be great to have in my back pocket down the road

Do you think comfort improved on these newer pairs? honestly never owned a pair of 4's but have heard they aren't the most comfortable Jordan. Just wanted to hear your opinion from someone who owned older pairs.
This pair was a friends and not my size so I haven’t had them on feet yet. However, they’re crazy soft and have a ton of extra padding around the ankle (they remind me of the SB 4s). I’m grabbing my pair Saturday and those are for the toe. I bet they’re more comfortable than most 4s, but not something I’d want on feet for extended periods of time.
