I have had the privilege of meeting Amber and she is one of the loveliest and coolest people I've ever met. In BTVS, Tara and Joyce Summers' deaths really broke me. Tara was such a great character.

I’ve seen actors sing at conventions several times. No rehearsal, no warming up your voice, bad microphones & speakers, no mixing board, and the acoustics in a hotel conference room are about the worst you could find. She did the best she could with what she had to work with.

I was always told my singing voice was too high, I watched the musical and heard this song and realized my voice wasn't too high pitched everyone else's voice was lower than mine.
Considering this wasnt in a sound booth of a recording studio where she had time to rehearse, do multiple takes... She sounded amazing. Pretty close to the recording so it's not like her voice needed a lot of enhancement.
The background singing and laughing from the audience is disturbing from Amber's singing. Other than that, Amber's voice is so heavenly and at the same time, haunting (in a good way).
