Doug Barlow umpired my little league games back in the day. I was a All Star 2 years and very fond memories indeed. Attended 3rd through 8th grade as a Wildkat and the people of Duncan are a tight knit community and I will forever be grateful to my school, sports, and fun in that little town.

Only real local person in this whole video is Mr. Barlow! Who has an awesome rock shop eastside of Duncan. Smith, Wallace and Mendelsohn are all out of towners who have done nothing for the town of Duncan! The only reason why people stop at the Simpson hotel is because there is to many pot holes to continue forward without having extensive car repair! Also Mendelsohn and Smith are members of the Duncan town council where they help the town manager run it into the ground. No back bone to stand up to him!
I wish who ever made this video would have done a little research to interview more of the actual locals of this town. For example the owners of the Chapperal gas station/hotel or the owners of the Ranch House restaurant and Germaine's Emporium. All local And a big shot out to Gimees and Sexton's store! Not exactly in Duncan but Duncan's neighbors and local owners!
So before you decide to come though Duncan, you should also know to stay away from the Veterans park because you'll be upset to see how ugly it is. Especially if you're a Veteran. There was a jet donated to the town of Duncan in the 90s to commemorate Veterans. In 2017 the jet needed some repairs so they took it down set it on the ground and took it apart. Im sad to report that the jet Is still on the ground going on 4 years now! The park Is full of weeds and looks like hell. Not the way the Veterans that fought for our country should be commemorated! Forgot to mention that the mayor of Duncan lives close to the park where she sees it everyday and does nothing to fix it up. I think it's all the potholes from the start of the Simpson hotel on main street all the way up to Babbitt heights(where the town pool and veterans park is located) maybe it rattles her brain and she can't see how disrespectful and horrible it is cause that's the kind of person she is! There are massive potholes all over the roads in the town of Duncan! It's awful and an embarrassment!! Fyi the pool has been out of commission because the town manger uses the money to go on trips with his mistresses! Also uses the towns money to pay for his mess ups, like burning a building down! Yup used the town's money to pay for his mess up!
Ive seen the local people of this beautiful town take matters into their own hands and try to fix it up themselves with their own money and time. They said a couple things that were true. Whenever a local needs help we all come together to help, but don't expect to see some of these people in this video to help! They only help themselves! Our town needs a lot of work and clean up, that's why we pay taxes for this kind of thing to have our town clean and roads drivable! No doubt Duncan is beautiful but that was forever ago! This is what happens when people are in charge that don't care and are not local!
Don't believe me here's a link to see for yourself!

For real LOL 😂 Take me back to Duncan from 1979 through 1985. Merrill’s Market, Baileys Steakhouse, Arts Meat Market, Peterson’s Market especially after football games... and by the way, Charle Clark owes me from teaching him how to throw a curveball and money for the Tron Game lol 😂
