Hi Flying Basil. Thank you for choosing to fly with us! We're delighted to hear that you had a satisfying experience with Philippine Airlines. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we look forward to welcoming you on board again soon! ✈💘
We have flow PAL business class since 2022 about 2 times a year MNL to LAX. Crew is always great. Flights pretty much on time so no real complaint on that. Food very good for airlines food. They always have lowest business class price and fastest direct flights MNL to LAX and back. We do book far in advance. I know planes are older but for price and time in flight it is fine. My wife and I like having 2 seats together by the window. But my guess is that will be gone with new planes sad for us. I still do not understand other reviews about bad service on PAL. Like I say the whole experience that they control is great. Lounge in MNL is very nice. The lounge ( shared ) in LAX is also very nice.
when will they upgrade the seats and ife and ultimately new planes? The service of pal crew are excellment, the real pilipino hospitality but the . Pal planes are ageing.
Last time i went to Philippines i was offered a $900 business class seat. at check in counter. I didn't take it but next time i will get it. in most cases I usually reserve a bulkhead seat 61D. I will wear my suit this time and look the part that i belong in business class. lol
It's Bonjour Paris as Air France 🇫🇷 recently said that they are returning to the Philippines and will start in December their direct nonstop flights to Manila from their hub at Paris Charles De Gaulle, it will be easier for French and European visitors, business people coming to the Philippines also for us Schengen Visa holders who regularly travel to Europe 🇪🇺. Currently we're the only country in Asia with no direct flights to Europe 🇪🇺 but it will soon change, in the near future we could see Lufthansa 🇩🇪, British Airways 🇬🇧, Swiss International 🇨🇭, KLM🇳🇱,, ITA Airways (Italia Transporto Aereo)🇮🇹 the successor to the now defunct Alitalia flying back again to the Philippines. Finnair 🇫🇮 will be a welcome addition if they open direct flights to Manila from Helsinki Vantaa.
@@FlyingBasil It will be a big "Content de te revoir" or Welcome Back in French it's been more than 20 years when Air France last flew to the Philippines and I can't wait for them to land in Manila in December for my travel to France.
@@FlyingBasilIt's "Au Revoir" to layovers when flying between the Philippines and Europe. I can't wait to be greeted again with "Bonjour et Bienvenue á Bord" by the cabin crew when I travel to France in December. If PAL does plan to fly to Paris Charles De Gaulle the cabin crew must take French language courses or better hire a French speaker from among Filipinos living in France, Belgium and Switzerland.
@@FlyingBasil When Air France 🇫🇷 finally pushes through their direct nonstop flights to Manila from Paris Charles De Gaulle in December it's most likely to hire Filipino cabin crews who are French speakers they will have no problem finding them, most of them are in France, Belgium and Switzerland.

I'm a fan of PAL now. (:
when will they upgrade the seats and ife and ultimately new planes?

Yes, totally agreed!
totally agree. there is a massive disconnect with the skytrax brag and the outdated business class products.
That's the reason the airfare in BC is the least expensive, new modern planes and the airfare goes up..
Pieces of luggage (plural) or “luggage” is also correct (plural or singular).
Exactly!
