I think this will be Spider-Man’s best MCU movie because with Stark’s death, he has that motivation to become a hero of his own. Stark is like Uncle Ben in the MCU.
Mysterio's betrayal will really begin to jade Peter to the idea of anyone taking Tony's spot as a mentor
@@ApexCalibre If that happens, I'd wouldn't be surprised but I'd be very sad for Peter. Literally, every mentor figure (Osborn, Dr. Octavius, Dr. Connors) has betrayed him in the movies so far.

@@ApexCalibre I think Falcon (and maybe War Machine) are already leading what's left of the Avengers. Spiderman might be leading a different team if he's even going enter into a role like that.
@@CrimsonOdachi I don't think so, I think that will be explained in their Disney+ show but if so then you'd think Fury would have called them over Peter
I think there's a good chance the snap DID create a tear in dimensions, but that Mysterio is lying about being from another Earth. His whole thing is about deception and using illusions to make himself look like a hero while he creates diversions to achieve his own selfish goals.
Then again, Marvel could be subverting fans expectations again and make Mysterio a good guy, or at least a sympathetic character like they did with the skrulls in Captain Marvel.
I feel like him turning out to be the villian would be much better than keeping him as a hero.
I don't think he is lying about being from the multiverse but I believe HE IS LYING about being a hero. My source Spider-Men, 2012 by Brian Michael Bendis.

Awesome reaction. You guys always react externally as much as I feel I'm reacting internally. This trailer couldn't have been more perfect for what I was hoping and could dream the next movie after Endgame could be.
My temporary theory about Mysterio is that he was a crook on his Earth and is infamous for it so he thought if he went to this "our" Earth he could start fresh and trick everyone into thinking he's a good guy.

Ive read the comics. The multiverse does exist because the Masters of the Mystic Arts know it does. Quentin Beck however (in the comics) is not a citizen of the multiverse, he basically a normal guy with a lot of different skills but none of them are magical or mystical. He's playing SHIELD so he can capitalize on getting famous for being a so-called "good guy", teaming up with SHIELD, teaming upwith Spidey, maybe even being some sort of "mentor" figure to him like Tony was. It's a classic marketing red herring.
Ya this movie is going to be a bit emotional and I want to trust that the muiliverse is real but we know from anything that has myserio in it is he lies he ends up being a bad guy but looks super fun
Actual Scene: Peter taking off his shades not seeing the destroyed cities, but hearing Tony Stark AI on the shades.
Chloe is adorable as usual.
Nice and lovely reaction...I think that Peter has Tony as his mentor, as his father figure and he wants to pay tribute giving continuity to Tony's legacy, and trying to become the new IronMan, but finally Peter understands that he is not IronMan, he is and must remain Spiderman, and will be the boy who helped Tony in IronMan 2, who at the end of this film will become the new IronMan.
The introduction of the "multiverse" is the revelation that we all expected for the future of the UCM

Seeing as Fury has worked with Selvig, who has researched alternative universes before, I can guarantee that there’s some sensor he has that confirms that the MCU is officially interacting with the larger Marvel Multiverse. Now, whether Mysterio is actually from another reality himself is questionable, but it’s very likely that the Multiverse is open to the MCU now.
